If they actually send you a computer for $280 bucks that originally costs 1k. Then I'll send you $280. Don't get ripped off. Go to Best Buy ( I hate Best Buy) otherwise you will make a thread in 4 to 6 weeks saying how you got ripped off. My advice to you, if you can walk in and see it and hold the store accountable if it is not working, then you are ok. Buying shit on the net is like playing the lottery.

I have purchased from cowboom many times and have had great experiences with them. They sell a lot of stuff cheap and the stuff is like new. If the items doesn't work or not as advertised they will send you a ups label to return it at their cost.

for 285 yes. refurbished doesn't always mean broken. often they are from corporations
who have refreshed their hardware. so you get a fully working, but used computer.

EDIT: i've bought more computers off ebay than tech chain stores with no complaints.

I stand corrected, if you have dealt with them before and you are satisfied then props. And to answer your original question it is a good price. However, I'm skeptical as to why it's so cheap.

its not a 1000$ laptop. maybe in 2008/2009, now it should be about 300
a bit more if it has more memory, disk space and updated OS.
