give it up. he says he wont bet you based off something that has nothing to do with you.... but its really because he doesnt have faith in his team. He knows this team aint built to win.....but he just wont keep it real. Go check some of his post in the multiple basketball threads and see how he contradicts himself amongst other things.
the negotiating is useless..trust me!
All he's waiting for are the playoffs. He thinks when the playoffs starts his team wil eliminate everyone in their path...then thats when he'll type major BS. You'll see...he's just a character.
He better hope his team avoids Philly. That's a team no one wants to see in the playoffs. If you look at their roster from top to bottom, they are loaded w/ talent. How that translates will be seen, but Ive worked about 7 of their games this year and I think they will definitely beat Miami and it's a good chance they can take BOS.
As far as the Bulls are concerned. I really don't forsee much comp in the East.
BOS
The truth about BOS is that they are a jump shooting team! Even with a healthy Shaq, they cannot match the Bulls bigs. Noah showed last year (in the series against Cle) that if you run the court you can neutralize Shaq.
Jermaine O'neal is done and would be the 5th Big on the Bulls Roster (Noah, Boozer, Gibson and Asik are more productive then him).
BOS is a vet team, I cannot deny that. The thing is, the roster that they will roll-out in the playoffs simply has not played at a high level for a consistent period of time.
As good as Rondo is, he's an offensive liability with his FG and FT shooting. Davis is a great player off the bench with his energy but this season has shown that he cannot produce at a high level for prolonged periods. He will have to log 28-32 minutes in the playoffs.
The playoffs are about defense, rebounding and half-court offense. Ray Allen's J is certified and Paul Pierce has a top 5 game in the league (not a top 5 player but has top 5 game). They thing is, the Celts rely on the Jumpshot too much. Their only post scoring threats are Jump shooters.
I really think they are better off playing w/out Shaq as he is a ball stopper and does not pass out of the double as well as he used to. If they try to establish Shaq in the playoffs, this will further hurt them. Their bench is thin and Murphy, Krstic, Green has yet to play at a high level in Bos. To expect them to do so in the playoffs is a stretch! If they land in the two spot, they;ll sweep the Knicks but they will have trouble with the 76ers if they land in 3rd.
The Bulls are a better rebounding and defensive team, have an advantage at the 1 and 5 (the C's have the advantage at the 2 and 3 and the 4 spot is even) and has a better bench. I truly believe that this is a 5 games series, maybe 6.
MIA
The heat may not make it out of the 1st round. I am calling it right now, Philly will beat the heat in a 7 game series. They are better at the most pivotal positions (1 and 5 with Holiday and Brand/Hawes). They are two deep at every positions without a major drop-off at any position.
Holiday/Williams
Meeks/Turner
Hawes/Spieghts
Brand/Young
Igoudala/Nocioni
With Igoudala, Turner, Meeks they actually have a good combination of Athleticism on the wings to challenge Wade/Lebron and force them to take jumpers.
No one wants to admit it but the fact that Lebron and Wade are adrenaline jump shooters! They do not have consistent half court jump shoots. Secondly, the Heat advantage is in the open court and playoff basketball limits open court play.
Also, the heat do not generate enough possessions in the regular season to have Bosh, Wade and Lebron playing at a high level. This will be exemplified in the playoffs were there are fewer possessions. They better hope they get the Knicks in the 1st round because Philly will beat them in a 7 games series.
They only teams I worry about in the playoffs as legitimate comp for the Bulls are the Lakers and OKC (as Westbrook is the only guard in the league that gives Rose trouble defensively).
