Damn. I was hoping the talk of him going to LA to join Kobe and Pau was real. I was also hoping that NY would fuck up the deal and not get him, even if it wasn't because of him joining the Lake Show. Now we gotta hear both real and fake Knick fans talk shit about the Knicks being back, and so on...

I llok at it this way, as long as they didn't give up Landry Fields we're good, I think homie got mad potential. You forget Billups was running the highest scoring team in the league per game, he can still ball. Now he just went to the second highest scoring team in the league. They got him under contract for 2 more years. We can either sign Paul or Williams next year. Now we need a big defensive center who can rebound and D'Antoni needs to slow shit down a lil bit and get these dudes to play some defense, we already know they can score. Don't sleep on that kid Fields though. If they sign Paul or Williams, that back court is gonna be no joke.

b/c felton is being flipped to nj in the 3 team deal between the mavs/nuggets and nets... mavs r getting devin harris back, nets get felton and mozgov and nuggets get picks.
nj wanted felton and mozgov so den got them.
he wanted his money and he was gonna pick the nets to get it. he was never going to be a free agent.

yeah we still have jerome jordan overseas and he is averaging like 16 a game over there so next season he'll probably be our starting center and we have our 1st this coming draft to draft a young pg to maybe learn from billups... so we'll be ok next season but this season...we make the playoff we get swept 1st around against a stronger team...
we have no center and earl barron is not the answer... yeah we get billups but he isn't the same dude... the blessing is we didn't lose fields... him and billups should work well together since they r smart players could be like how billups and rip were in detroit.. but we have no center...amare is the tallest dude on the team now...

Yeah, giving up Mozgov kinda hurts, dude was a liability in the post but the Knicks are gonna miss his rebounds and shot blocking though. This still ain't enough to make me get my old Charles Oakley jersey from the attic though. I'll be watching the games but I swore I'd never root for the Knicks again. That organization is like the first chic that broke my heart.
