u can't install apps without them being from the market. so if u want to use the text replacement app "swype" u can't b/c it needs you to download and install from within the browser and not the market. And any apps that come up on bgol's android threads won't be installed b/c at&t has removed that function(copying the iphone model where they keep control of the device to prevent the user from install money-saving apps and rooting). It's a policy at&t has had for android from the beginning to keep users locked in, they claim its for user safety but everyone knows that's bs.

Damn, so this phone doesn't come with swype? That may be a deal killer for me. I have an Iphone now and I have always wanted swype because I am a horrible texter.

I'm not being a fanboy at all. The second video you posted ran the game properly...the demonstration they gave in the promo video was choppy and horrible. If you can watch both of those videos back to back and not see a difference then it is YOU who has an eyesight issue.

not on at&t android unless they are rooted and the sideloading function is restored if not then you can't.
