I don't always agree with JD, but he is correct here. This is the US and there are ways to prevent this. Besides, didn't he sell his rights for $100k?
And there are legal consequences for stealing or cheating with patents. Also if the attorney screwed you, then you file a claim against his malpractice insurance.
Who ever puts Patent Lawyers on retainer? What start up has money to do this? Even big companies hire Patient Agents over Patient Attorneys. So I disagree with you both because the company I work for actually engineers products and they have hundreds of patients. Many engineers become Patient Agents. I understand Patients are not your thing and you have said such. But JD Ocked Twice is just a dude in the clubs selling pictures and he's giving legal advice?
years ago gm started using alot of advertising on ther engineers being patient holders for new parts design..
yea he brought the house for his mother in the burb's and after legal fee's and losing his case they lost the house so he moved back to the hood..
