My music centers around what everybody elses basically does, our childhoods or in other words what we all consider to be a kinder, gentler time.
I'm part of the older crowd on this board so my "embarrassing" music goes back to two childhood shows.
1. The Partridge Family.
Listening to it even now makes you think that grown-up life is all about love and family!
Ya'll might recognize the sample on the first song!
The lyrics in this one as well!
2. The Monkees.
American TVs answer to the Beatles.
I would watch the show faithfully every day after school waiting for the 3 episodes that featured THIS song!
(If it sounds familiar, they use it in the Shrek movies)
3. This next one is from the greatest entertainer to ever live, he/they need no introduction, nothing embarrassing about the song, it's trying to sing along @ the top of your voice when you know you can't sing that's the problem!
All of course are in my Ipod, but on my playlist they play like every third song in between the Greatest hits of each respective group.
Yeah, I'm old, just don't judge me!
