Question.. Has anyone noticed that adsense clicks from blogger.com blogs pay a lot less than clicks from adsense ads that are hosted on your own site?

I dont know if its caused by the content but my blogger.com clicks are paying $0.10 max with an average of 0.03 to 0.05 per click

------

Edit

I've done some more research and now see that its my keywords that are worthless. Its back to the drawing board to try and find a good niche

We'll cover Adsense payout rates in this seminar. There's a quick and easy way to find fat paying niches.

Seminar Post #1

Money versus Passion

The FULL discussion/archive post is posted at http://bit.ly/i63VnT This forum post only posts the steps. If you want to see the full explanation and analysis, check the archive post.

How to find subjects that you can be excited about but also pay well

Sadly, just because you're excited about one particular topic it doesn't mean other people will be excited too. Or, more likely, if they are also excited, it doesn't necessarily mean they'd PAY MONEY for goods/services related to the topic, get it?

The key to blogging for money in a sustainable and successful way is to blog passionately about something that people will pay money for. They don't pay you directly—they pay by clicking on Adsense ads or clicking on affiliate program links and ads on your posts.

So how exactly do you find out if your “passion topics” can make money? Follow these simple steps

1) List out all the topics you're passionate about

2) Ask yourself, what is it about these topics that truly fascinate me? Write subtopics. Delete the general topics.

2a) VERY IMPORTANT STEP: What are your subtopics related to? What general topics are they related to? Medical issues? Legal issues? Health? Make a pairing on your list.

3) Once you've finetuned your list, go to spyfu.com and look for keywords related to your subtopics and your general related topics.

4) Filter the results to find the following PAIRING:

High volume of search traffic
High number of related subkeywords or terms
Decent payout per click
Decent number of advertisers targeting those terms
Managable volume of competition.

How to tweak low money subjects into decent money blogs

I've got a question about content. I saw in one of your other posts that you buy your content from some sites for $0.05 per word. Can you show us an example of something they wrote? Im currious to see what quality is like.

D Town, three questions:

What do you think is the minimum amount of time that must be set aside in a week to do this right?

How much time did you spend starting out?

What is the most time you've put into this in a week?

Good thread, thought I'd wait for the thread to fall a little bit before posting my questions.

D town I love the infom but really how is this working out for you. There is a lot of time and effort needed for this, it would be nice to know what the possible returns could be
