He's done. He gets millions of dollars and doesn't have to take any bumps. He'll probably make some special appearances and I seem to remember him saying he was open to doing one of those guest host of Raw segments but we'll never see him in the ring again.

if he was to return, who would you put him in a program with? I have a terrible feeling they would have him working with Cena...

smh@ kicking Wade Barrett out the Nexus

That's like kickin Method Man outta Wu Tang

Terrible

My problem was the way they did it.It was predictable as hell that Orton was going to win and that Barrett would be out of Nexus. Why not let Barrett win, stay in Nexus as leader and then gradually have Punk do what we know he wants to do and eventually take over Nexus.

Quick question. Is there any way in hell the Rock is coming back? I remember hearing rumors that he was returning last summer. Then, he said after his last movie he was going to come back. Is it a wrap on those plans?

He said he'd come back in a non-wrestling role if they wrote him something good.

Personally, I think they were going to have him be the Raw GM when they first started doing that and that was when they were saying catchphrases with the GM's messages like "if you smell what the GM is cookin'" or something like that to hint to the fans that it could be The Rock. And I think he turned it down somewhere around the time, so in order to die down the confusion, they started doing other people's catchphrases and stopped putting catchphrases in the messages until they found somebody to be an on-screen GM.

knowing the rehasing of storylines, don't be suprised if they decide to do Nexus like the NWO and have 2 factions. Remember there are a lot of Nexus guys injured. Or they'll fuck around and have John Cena team with Barrett or some ridiculous fuckery of the sort. Morrison puts on great matches and if they are smart the title match will be a 3 way dance. Morrison seems ready for the spotlight, 2 drop him out now is foolish

The only problem with that is only 2 Nexus guys are hurt and when Tarver was taken out Barrett said that he was gonna kick Tarver out anyway.

There's Tarver, Young, Sheffield and Barrett. NXT season 2 still has Percy Watson out there. U can always have someone leave and join Wade. This is the wwe we talking about where stupid happens and there is no explanation given

I doubt that Nexxus storyline ends like this. I mean what else is Nexxus and CM Punk going to do leading up to the PPV? Sheamus doing his King of the Ring thing, Orton is in a title hunt, Miz is champion, Morrison is in this feud with Miz......My feeling is CM Punk is going to continue this feud with Barrett. Barrett will probably argue he lost because of CM Punk and we'll probably see a match between the two at the next PPV.

I'm loving this Nexxus angle though with CM Punk. The Cm Punk addition to the storyline was much needed after they fucked up that angle.

so does this mean they are going to turn Wade face now and feud with C.M.Punk and Nexxus now ??? I'm just wondering cause Cena's hurt and Triple HHH probably wont be back until the Royal Rumble ppv and Orton/Miz is in a program now so what gives with the direction of Barrett now ?

apparently they moved him over to smackdown so he can have a feud w/ the big show

That would be the idea but he would have to want to work with Cena and Cena got under his skin "challenging" him a couple years ago.

They better have him kick the shit out of Show and move on to Taker. They don't have any big guys to feud with Taker after he beats Kane and no one wants to see him feud with Cody Rhodes.

no one really knows when Taker is coming back and when he does he'll probably be on a limited schedule, but this seems like a hoe move putting him on SD without getting no kind of get back on CM Punk at all

**SPOILER** Top RAW Star Drafted To SD!

Source: Pwinsider

Wade Barrett showed up at tonight’s WWE SmackDown! tapings, and attacked The Big Show.

According to a source, the move is a permanent one, and there will be no face turn for Barrett.

There will also be no follow-up to the CM Punk-RAW-Nexus angle.

What kind of shit is that? They could've at least incorporated that into the cage match last Monday.

I see Morrison winning the World Title some time this year. Raw only has 3 baby face main eventers ( Cena, Orton, HHH ) and all 3 of them are injury prone. They should let Morrison win the MITB at Mania ant let just keep elevating him. It would have been great to see him win the title but after a young first timer in Miz just winning the title it's cool to have Morrison chase the title. Also they should let Miz hold on the the title untill Mania, there's really no point of letting Orton win the title and then have miz chase it win he's not looking like a weak champ right now.

WWE needs someone to feud with Daniel Bryan. Gabriel could put on a good set of matches with Bryan, and with Punk taking over it would make sense for the other members to get some individual shine.

Wow so they're just going to be pretend that Barrett didn't just get cheated? He's not even gonna retaliate? Just say fuck it? I mean I actually like Barrett on Smackdown but WWE missed the opportunity for a angle with CM Punk and Wade both fighting for leadership. WWE is so lucky they don't have any competition. This shit here is WCW-esque.

That's true but he's expected back before Mania and he's been on a limited schedule for years. They need to find some closure to the Undertaker-Nexus angles of last year when they beat him down twice and this looks to be the closest they'll get to it.
For the sake of continuity, they should leave him on Raw to get some payback on Punk but they want to keep him and Punk as strong heels so they chose to move him.
On a positive note, we don't get weeks and weeks of Rhodes vs. Big Show.

:yes::yes:

or they could have kept Kaval and added him to Raw to feud with Bryan but that's a pipedream now.

They're probably going to take the belts off the Machine Guns this weekend but I could go for a full series of matches between the Guns and AJ and Kazarian.

Simple Question: Is kazarian the absolute worst wrestler in the mic? I mean i thought cena was bad but from "matty matty chicken patty" to his jay lethal promo last week and his work last night, he has to be at the top of the list imo

He's not the worst but he has some really bad moments on the mic. His best mic work (and most of the Fortune guys' best work) has been ReAction. With that canceled, I hope they incorporate the good parts into Impact!. Frankie is the guy who most needs Ric Flair's backstage counseling, particulary with his promo work. If that doesn't improve, he'll never be more than a X-Division or tag guy.

Spike Tv has never made sense to me, they let wwe get away and then they cancel reaction which was alot of the time better than impact.

I know. What are they going to put there that gets the same ratings as ReAction?
Gotta give Spike one on having one of the lead characters in "Blue Mountain State" wear the TNA logo t-shirt on the show and use that clip in the commercial.

On another note, without ReAction, I see less and less need for Eric Bischoff. Sure they've increased merch sales but how is that related to him? His character isn't interesting and they're drawing the same ratings they were before he got there. In fact, when they've had ratings spikes, the new viewers clearly rejected Impact! and those episodes always had an extra dose of Bischoff and Hogan. Save some money and let him go.

Pope's collecting money. Pope's getting pit bulls from a kennel. Oh no.
Dixie, Jeff, somebody please don't let Russo book a dogfighting angle, trying to turn the Pope back heel for his feud with Samoa Joe. Don't let this happen.

Hulkamania has been dead for years, i mean he can still get a big pop but after that wears down all you have is an old man who can't do shit anymore. Bischoff is basically paddind his portfolio because he hasn't done a damn thing except for reaction, and the messed up part is he seems ok with them canceling the show:smh:

Hogan and Bischoff are the best workers in the history of the business with Nash and Russo right behind them. Unfortunately, every single one of them works for TNA.

FORMER ECW TALENT VAL PUCCIO PASSES AWAY
by Mike Johnson @ 11:06 PM on 1/7/2011

Valentino "Big Val" Puccio, who competed in the original Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1995, passed away today at the age of 45.
We have not heard a cause of death, although Puccio had been battling obesity for many years and was once chronicled on the TLC Network on "Inside the Brookhaven Obesity Clinic", a reality program.

Puccio appeared for several months in ECW playing a large monster heel against the likes of Mikey Whipwreck and Hack Myers, also using the nickname the "Big Valley." He was briefly aligned with JT Smith after Smith began doing his Italian gimmick.

Trained by WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz, Puccio was originally one half of a tag team known as The Undertakers with his brother, Tony Puccio. The pair worked for a number of Northeastern staples at the time, including the Savoldi's ICW.

When WWF created The Undertaker character, The Undertakers team was brought into WWF for a series of house show appearances under the team name Double Trouble. Urban legend at the time was that the team received the bookings as part of an agreement that the brothers would stop using the name, which they had been utilizing prior to the WWF character's debut.

On his Facebook page, Tony Puccio stated, "The world lost a great man tonight!!!! And God got his Soldier!! We shared a lifetime of good Memories. But it will not stop here, you will always be in our hearts. And I will finish what we set out to do!!!!! I love you, Bubba!!!!! Remember we didn't come here to lose T-Bird!!!!"

Our deepest condolences to Puccio's friends and family at this time,

I actually remember the Undertakers tag team in ICW and that was when before "Mean" Mark Callous went to the WWF. Boy they were fat.

While I think TNA could have made some money building up Ken Anderson's chase of Jeff Hardy all the way to Lockdown, I get why they took the title off him last night. Can't have your World Champion pleading guilty to drug charges in federal court.

Damn AJ's hurt will be out for at least a few weeks. That puts the AJ-Douglas Williams matches on hold and whatever they were planning for him and Immortal/Fortune.

Jeff Hardy needs to be put in rehab, he did this shit in WWE and they basically didn't give a damn, TNA don't need to follow suit.

I don't disagree. I think both Hardys could use some time seeking professional help, for their dependency issues and fitness trainers (Matt's the one who needs both really). At this point in their careers, they could and should be on top, getting titles, main events and working great matches, and they're not. Jeff's on top in TNA but his personal issues have cut that short and Matt hasn't looked good in over a year.

People are killing me wanting to see the Hardys and the Machine Guns. Jeff and Matt can't keep up with them at this point. Now Beer Money vs. the Hardys might be something worth watching.
