A nice looking unit. But unfortunately, both HDMI inputs are defective AND tuner memory does not work so the channels have to be scanned and reprogrammed each an every time the unit is turned on, which takes 5 minutes to complete at startup. So I might have to use this only as a monitor.

Nice price, nice setup, but my unit came with BOTH HDMI inputs inaccessible. (What should have been screwed in was not, so I could not use my HDMI at all!)

It's a refurb, charges $150 shipping and I wouldn't ef wit geeks.com. Got a couple of defective refurbs from them. Decent customer service though. I was able to get a new 42" LG 1080 60hz(looks great though and no issues gaming) from frys.com a few months back(way before black friday) for $449+ tx, I'm sure deals like that will come back around.

Si-who??:confused::smh:

TV's have gotten far too cheap and reasonably priced to subject myself to some bootleg garbage like. Brands like this have been rendered obselete. Not worth the risk or investment. Considering the defects that this crap is almost certain to have, i dont think you could pay me to put one of these in my home.

Gotta give you 1star playa.

Shit, I got a Polaroid and that shit went out on me within 2 years and 9 months (warranty was only 2 years:hmm:).

I'm shopping for another TV right now. Only brands I will trust are quality shit like Toshiba, Phillips, Samsung, or LG. But another thing that piss me off is the damn recycle fee we have to pay in addition to the appliance we're purchasing.

:eek: Crosses fingers and hope my 42" Polaroid don't go out (4 years plus)

But I'm am in the market to get new LED TV 46 or larger for a good price

Funny I think I got the same model of Polaroid. All of the reviews I've read about it have said it's shit but it's been almost 5 years and it's alive and still kickin.

I would scoop up that 42" Vizio but I just copped a 32" not too long ago. Vizios are nice tvs. I got 2, a 27" and a 32". Had the 27" for a few years not, not one problem with it at all. I slightly damaged it (had a the surround sound center speaker on top of it, which fell and scratched a part of the screen) but other than that they've been perfect.

Contrast ratios don't mean a thing unless you are comparing between models made by the same company as everyone measures them differently.
