Can you find any conservatives/Libertarians/republicans that condemn outsourcing and are trying to stop it?

And people look at me like I'm crazy when I propose the idea that some community organizations and our elected officials are actively trying to destory the country. For instance:

U.S. To Train 3,000 Offshore IT Workers

Taxpayer money to train the foreign IT workers to do the IT work that Americans won't do -- at least not at South Asian wages.

Democrats did nothing about it, that should have been the first thing on their plate. Stoping the currency manipulation, and tax breaks.

They are talking about waiting till after the elections to do something when the Republicans tip the balance in their favor according to the polls. Yeah that will never happen.

They are trying to push the idea that Americans don't have a right to these jobs. If an American is buying your product, Americans have every right to make it.

Bill to End Tax Provision on U.S. Jobs Is Blocked

WASHINGTON — The Senate on Tuesday rejected efforts by Democratic leaders to advance a bill to end a tax provision that supporters of the measure said encourages American companies to ship jobs overseas. The bill also would have given a tax break to companies that move jobs back to the United States.

Republicans unanimously opposed the bill, which their party leader, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, dismissed as an ill-conceived political stunt by Democrats seeking to portray themselves as opposed to the outsourcing of jobs.

“This is about as pure a political exercise as you can get,” Mr. McConnell said in a floor speech. He added, “The way to get U.S. businesses to produce more here isn’t to tax them even further, it’s to stop punishing them with our high corporate tax rate.”

Supporters said they were trying to protect American workers.

“It’s about fighting for a way of life,” said Senator Debbie Stabenow, Democrat of Michigan. “It’s about fighting for the middle class of this country. We want to make it in America and this sends a very simple message in this bill: Stop shipping our jobs overseas.”

The vote was 53 to 45 with Democrats falling 7 votes short of the 60 needed to bring the bill to the floor. Joining the Republicans in opposition were four Democrats, Senators Max Baucus of Montana, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Jon Tester of Montana and Mark Warner of Virginia, as well as Joseph I. Lieberman, the Connecticut independent.

The Senate then voted overwhelmingly, by 84 to 14, to clear a procedural hurdle on a temporary spending measure that will finance the government until Dec. 3, a month and a day after the November elections. The spending resolution must be adopted before lawmakers leave Washington to focus their full attention on campaigning.

The Senate action makes it likely that Congress will approve the measure by Thursday, and both chambers will be able to adjourn as expected at the end of this week

Separately, the Senate on Tuesday unanimously approved legislation to reauthorize programs that promote the collection of bone marrow and adult stem cell donations, as well as umbilical cord blood, that is used in transplants and medical therapies. The bill extends until 2015 the C.W. Bill Young Cell Transplantation Program, which includes a national registry for bone marrow and stem cell donations.

They waited until election time to push for it, the wrong time to get anything through Congress when they are campaigning. Democrats should have attacked it, when they got in office, instead of using the issue as a political ploy to win votes.

So you are blaming the Democrats for better late than never rather than blaming the Republicans for opposing it period.

Didn't you say:

Democrats did nothing about it,...
They are talking about waiting till after the elections to do something when the Republicans tip the balance in their favor according to the polls. Yeah that will never happen.

I guess in your mind the Democrats can't win for loosing. If you think there is no difference between the parties, you like many are fooling yourself.

And they call me participant!

Don't follow what is being "said", look at what is being done.

Damn!

Despite President Obama's pledge to retain more hi-tech jobs in the U.S., a federal agency run by a hand-picked Obama appointee has launched a $36 million program to train workers, including 3,000 specialists in IT and related functions, in South Asia.

Democrats should have pounced on outsourcing during the bailouts and the economy on the verge of collapse. The stimulus (borrowed money) and outsourcing should have been included together instead of separately.

During the Bush years while Multinationals laid off 2 million American Manufacturing Jobs, while at the same time hiring 2 million workers in foreign countries. During the Bush years we have lost 30% of our Manufacturing Jobs -- going from 17 Million down to 12 Million.

After the retards in the country vote Republican, any action on outsourcing will never happen. Democrats might be using the same tactic as Republicans, blame the other party for not passing legislation, like unemployment for budgetary reasons; than support a massive tax cuts for the rich.
