The Economy's Real Problem IS THAT YOU ARE OVERPAID

==========================================================

I'm not confused.You don't agree.There is a difference.
They couldn't make enough money to steal for the Rich's insatiable greed.

So you disregard all of what I've said and instead make another impulsive and shallow proclamation. You are indeed confused and that is why I disagree with you.

I'm tired of this idiotic babble from you folks and even slightly dipping into economic principles because they clearly are something many of you have never bothered to learn. Just answer this simple question, how many families making $250,000 a year do you think are outsourcing jobs???

==============================================================
As oppose to what folks????? That's the second time you have said that.

So you disregard all of what I've said and instead make another impulsive and shallow proclamation. You are indeed confused and that is why I disagree with you.

---------------------------------------------------------------

When you referred to me as "you people" you immediately showed me what set you claim. I no longer need to dignify you or your failed argument with the courtesy of a response.

I'll let Thom Hartmann ride on you:

Your so indoctrinated.You've been trained better than a puppy.

By the way you have a little bit of talking points in the corner of your mouth here's a napkin!

==============================================================

That comment wasn't even a direct response to you. Why do you continue to ignore the statements posed directly to you? But to answer your question, the fools are leftists like yourself who demonstrate that they have little to no understanding of economics.

You're confused. Aside from those in government or directly receiving money from the government, the money that rich people possess does not deprive others of money that they would otherwise have. You see, people like you think that there is a fixed pie and that one person getting richer (or getting a bigger piece of the pie) makes another person poorer (leaves them less of the pie). You simply don't understand how capitalism works. You don't understand anything about the use of resources and productivity. In a capitalist system, the wealthy expand the pie, they do not take from others piece of the pie. They do however expand the pie in a way that allows more to be available for others to eat than would be available if it were not for their productive activities.

Bill Gates was found to be worth $54 billion in 2010. Now did he make the rest of the world $54 billion poorer?

The food server, ditch digger, floor mopper, and fruit pickers are not underpaid. They receive their market rate based on supply and demand. You seemed to understand this principle at the start of the post with your statement about government workers and I agreed with you on that point. But the last group of people should also be paid based on supply and demand as well, not by the subjective view of their "value to the economy."

Blahahahaha!!! :lol::lol::lol:

This is your rebuttal??!! Smh omg dude. You use a clip of a left-wing radio talk host speaking to Larry Beinhart, a writer of mystery novels and other fiction stories, to rebutt my statements? Was this guy actually trying to say that higher taxes help the economy while lower taxes worsen it?

The only thing that did have any validity to it was the thing he said about World War 2 though he didn't actually understand why WWII brought us out of the depression. WWII was an extremely rare situation where the demand for certain productive activities was extremely high and those activities were extremely apparent. The channels for these productive activities, factories for example, were either already in place or could quickly be put into place by other productive activities. Again, the circumstances for such a largely centralized direction of productive activities to be useful are rare to say the least.

To make it even worse, at the end of the clip the radio host, Thom Hartmann, tries to argue that WWII actually slowed down the recovery. WTF man?! I mean really wtf, I'm smh at him and you for posting it. You represent a major part of the problem the country is facing. You refuse to learn even basic economic principles and instead call them "talking points." You choose to listen to people who know nothing of what they talk about and blindly subscribe to their claims without having a foundation in which to judge them. You choose to support their proclamations because their compatible with your political disposition. You aren't seeking logic and truth; you're seeking comfort and reassurance.

What is Krugman's point? That since hedge fund managers salaries are so high, school teachers salaries should increase in equal scale? How do they relate? Have school teachers salaries not gone up even as the majority of the public rightly or wrongly criticizes their performance?

Do you unions work to benefit society or do they work to benefit those within their limited membership? Who really bears the costs of their demands? Does not the increase in the salaries unions demand their employers pay anyone they employ not decrease the number of individuals that will be hired? Particularly in the private sector. That's not an automatic thing, their is nuance involved because we must allow for elasticity of demand for labor. However, unionization restricts the free trade of labor between employers and the labor force.

What's Krugman's proposal? I didn't see one other than maybe that we need more unions, something I clearly disagree with. I think he's ignorant, maybe even willingly ignorant, to advocate for it. If he's advocating that the government tax the so-called rich more in order to merely lessen their net income so that it's closer to the net income of others is ridiculous. What does that solve? How is that right? Who should decide such things? Are you not entitled to what your employer agrees to pay you for your labor?

Businessman who have defrauded their clients, regulators, and partners should be punished. So should government officials who work in collaboration with them or commit fradulence solely within the realm of government. But to focus on individual success and try to limit a person's remuneration from it is ludicrous and immoral. Furthermore, aside from the malpractitioners that I just mentioned, highly successful individuals have not hurt the so-called middle class. If anything, their productivity has served the middle class more than anyone.

Re: The Economy's Real Problem IS THAT YOU ARE OVERPAID!!

Putting a limit on how much an individual can earn??? You're absolutely nuts dude. You liberals are soooo twisted. I don't know where to begin with this crap. Here's a couple though... So should there be a limit on how much people can produce? Unless all wages are the exact same, won't there always be an upper class?

Someone pointed out earlier that there's limits on what pro athletes can earn but not on what owners can earn. College sports are another example of owners/schools getting paid and workers/players getting almost nothing so limits are already in place. Like you said I don't know where to begin with this crap but you conservatives are sooo twisted you can't or won't see that this system is not working for most people.

Since I am convinced that Big Brother is watching to see if I do anything that shows having balls,I cannot respond to you the way I really want.You right wingers here have the luxury of personal attacks with impunity while I cannot. So do you! I cannot talk to you. You are speaking right wing while I am speaking facts. You don't acknowledge facts just right wing rhetoric.

Vote Right wing or tea party or whatever you want. In a way I want you guys to win so you all can finish the job of ruining the country that you almost finished. I'd say it is going to take you all one more helm at the control to PERMANENTLY destroy the republican/tea party/conservative parties in America....

You are shrinking your party into an American Taliban. You cater to the rich, and you have the nerve to attack anybody who wants America to succeed for the working classes. There's a special place in hell for you guys. Your countdown has started...

Not all Republicans buy this BS

(1) I'm not going to read every thread looking to police grown folks behavior.

(2) Brainchild: I actually started a note to you on yesterday, but work was more important. The note went something like this: Your comments/discussions are welcome on this Board. On the other hand, your petty insult of other members isn't, hence, you need to drop the insults or move on (I had copied a few the insults to point out to you -- but, I'm not taking the time to do that today). Suffice to say, either avoid the personal insults or move on, otherwise, I will take care of it with the quickness.

(3) Mr. CK, because I ignored you in the past doesn't mean that I will continue to do so, if you insist upon violating the rules.

You seem to be an intelligent person. If you're here to discuss, debate, etc., -- get on with doing what you do. I have neither time nor the desire to play little children games. The Rules are what they are. I don't have a desire to ban you or anyone else, on the contrary, I am interested only in promoting and maintaining intelligent and courteous dialogue. If thats your interest, cool. If not . . .

Ok,ok I got it.

Now a SERIOUS QUESTION: I have to take issue with the obvious visual of non-partisan totally arbitrary fairness here? Can't we have at least a discussion about having someone else here who advocates for those who hold viewpoints contrary to yours (i.e. left,center,right)??

I'm not necessarily saying you are NOT BEING FAIR,I just think that like the fairness doctrine states,there should be some sort of counter-ballast here especially when holding the power to ban folk IN forum ABOUT Politics.A topic where passions run strong.

Your opinion?

Where did you get that from? I never said I was non-partisan; and this forum is not promoted as, non-partisan. To be sure, however, I don't care for either of the two and half (2 1/2) major parties; and I think voter-reliance upon "Party Labels" for guidance can be, misguidance.

Every poster here advocates his/her viewpoints. There are no 2 view points on this board, exactly alike. Hence, to the extent there are individual posters, there are individual view points -- all of which, in one way or another, are contrary to the next, mine and yours included.

If individuals are truly, individuals; if each individual brings his/her on baggage and, therefore, his/her individual opinions, then the opinions of each person are counter-balanced, in varying degrees, by the opinions of each other. Thats called diversity of opinion and it is limited ONLY by the totality of individual posters, that post.

If you want to create more diversity of opinion, encourage more posters to post.
