It's because of the nigga's among us. Black people can never have peace as long as nigga's are around. Chris Rock was not fucking lying. To seriously answer your question, intelligence and religion seem to occupy the same regions of our brain, and it's evident that both cannot occupy the same place at the same time, therefore one has to go. Religion is completely irrational and illogical. It was the brain's way of resolving unanswered/unsolvable questions about our environment. Now those questions are being answered the correct way, through science, which involves exhaustive study and research. And unlike religion, the results of scientific research yield results humans can actually use and apply.
Religion is a fucking hustle. Christianity was forced upon us, Its funny how alot of black people will pray to a white Jesus.

I have been to quite a few funerals in my lifetime... and during either the remarks session or the eulogy the family members (bible believers) and the pastor always say "DONT WEEP HE/SHE IS IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD..."
now after the service does the pastor ask for forgiveness because he/she openly lied to the congregation and in church... because in the bible it clearly says
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
basically meaning that the dead sleep until the rapture.. then they are called up... and in that scripture it states to comfort each other with these words... but they dont... why is that?????

Actually it's the other way around. Black folks are too damn religious. We are the most religious in this country. Flying Spaghetti Monster knows why.

I respect that. But even science says that energy is neither created nor destroyed. So even the carbon that existed before the big bang theory had to have come from somewhere. I don't know how hands on God is, or exactly what is God, but there are some things that even science cannot explain.

To me believing in the big bang is just like believing in a creator.
The big bang is mostly what someone thought up, not with evidence, but with their imagination. Theory is so shock full of holes that defy science.
that doesn't prove God at all, that proves that something was there at some point, which begs a million other quetions. I'll keep it simple for the purpose of not derailing this thread.
this isn't conclusive, but it's tha latest assertion out there, and it disputes what you just ssaid. SOmething can indeed come out of NOTHING, and it did, according to this. We'll see.
But for me, if you wanna credit initial creation to an entity, I respect that, but I relate more to the other theories. I doubt that there is an entity that has the intent that we have as humans.
I'm not really qualified to debate that, and I doubt many of us have much info o it. The big bang is just one theory anyway.
In any case, it's a much more plausible theory than some guy who just snapped his fingers and made everything in one fell swoop.
At some point something simple happened, and it has evolved to where we are now, and continues to.
