For some reason, the unorganized nature is what makes BGOL work.
It's bitter-sweet, but having one spot where you can view some hot chicks and then click another thread to get some advice on the right shoelace for my sneakers just works for this board's format.
What you're saying is valid, as a matter of fact we tried (and still trying) to keep the board organized with all these sub-forms but for some reason we keep going back to the mixed-bag format.
There's a bunch of threads that don't belong on the main board but never get moved.
Politics, business, fitness, DIY threads are on the front page right now, but they'll never get moved.
I think it's because most members only visit the main board and hardly venture into the other forums. So if you want to get the most feedback/views/participation from your thread, the main board is the way to go.

No we understand, the question is, is it really necessary as some may believe? My personal analysis is no. There are tons of threads on the main board with black porn, same as the back up board and the homegrown section is flooded with it. There is just no need.
