Pakistan's got some nuclear weaponry...we leave Afghanistan...terrorist will take Pakistan over and somebody will get blown up...we can't leave, guys....not yet.

And our 50, 000 soldiers left over there might be in danger now...pray for them.

Pure bullshit. So 50,000 troops are still there? That's a lot of mutha fucking troops, I don't care what you call them (training, logistics). Fuck that. Bring the troops home. All of them. Lastly, moving them to Kuwait doesn't satisfy their need to go home and be with their family.

I was in Camp Victory Bhagdad last year. CACs there couldn't believe that we could just pick up and leave like that. I'm like, we:hmm::hmm: Just pick up this shit and bounce. Most of them were civilians working for KBR making that 200k+ salary a year sitting in them AC trailers. I worked with a security manager who made 17k/month talking about he hope we never leave :smh:

When KBR came through back in 2003...they had a saying called "a BrownandRoot Dollar." That was $100 cash = $1 to the contractors. They would build the MWR tents, Dfacs, and then AAFES would come and park a trailer. A truck driver told me he was making $90K during the height but on his year back home he wasn't coming back. Disgruntled as hell with a flack vest and a jug for water with no ice driving trucks across the border. The money those contractors were making was 4X what my soldiers were getting...for doing the same job. Fuckin shame but that's the spoils of war profiteering.

That still doesn't make it necessary for the US to be there. No one wants a nuclear war. The aggressors will dies to. Obama just needs to say fuck it and pull out of Afghanistan.

It ain't over. They are setting up for a future assault on Iran, count on it. They pulled the same shit after Desert Storm.

My point in posting this was to show the ridiculousness of Bush's Mission Accomplished speech when the war is still ongoing 7 years later. Although Israel is trying to get the backing for a preemptive strike on the Bushehr plant before it goes live, I don't think the US will ever directly attack Iran.

You are right but it is disgusting to see the Israelis and Neocons try and get support for this BS. Bolton was in the media hyping it and Drudge has started hyping it again as well. shit is disgusting...:smh:

I know man I know

You have to look at contractor counts also. They had people going to Iraq and paying off mortgages.

If you complained, they put on the most dangerous routes, you couldn't carry weapons as a contractor.

They are also bringing a bunch of people into the embassy

well.. credit where credit is due ... Obama said he was gonna pull the troops out of Iraq .. and he's at least tryin' to keep that campaign promise ...

i think 7-8 years, billions of dollars, and thousands of deaths later ... the gov't accomplished its goal (and no, the goal was never iraqi freedom or findin' WMD's) ... so he can reduce troop levels now ...

and we're never gonna completely leave ... iraq or afghanistan ... think about it ... we still have bases in germany and japan ...
