The week before the record topped the charts, Yeezy visited Toronto's Flow 93.5, and he wasn't happy. 'Ye was trying to express concern with the station's censorship of "white" during the song's classic "when he get on, he leave your ass for a white girl" line, only to be continually interrupted by the radio host. Eventually, he snapped.

Complex Says: Nas might be partially responsible for this one. His album Hip Hop Is Dead dropped around the same time as Jeezy's The Inspiration. Many thought Nasir was commenting on the prevalence of Southern rap, so naturally, the topic of hip-hop's well-being came up during Jizzle's promo run for his LP. At Philadlephia's 100.3 The Beat, he and radio host (and former Native Tongues rapper) Monie Love got into a serious argument over the issue that resulted in Jeezy walking out of the interview.

Complex Says: Webbie hit up DJ Wrekk 1's Indianpolis-based radio show on Hot 96.3, and things got pretty heated. Rumors had been circulating at the time about the rapper missing shows due seizures, and Wrekk was pressing him for answers. Webbie didn't take it too well, and told him, "Bitch, quit asking me about some motherfucking seizures before I get on your motherfucking ass, man!" That would have been the perfect opportunity for a "pause."



Canibus

Complex Says: Canibus and Keith Murray hit up DJ Green Lantern's Invasion radio show. Murray spit a freestyle and when the host tried to coerce 'Bis into doing the same, he kinda bugged out, telling everyone to "chill out with the vibe" and respect his decision not rhyme at the moment. Bonus points for him adopting a previously unheard Jamaican accent for the rant.

Complex Says: In all fairness, Biz didn't exactly get mad at the host during this infamous interview at Houston's KPFT station, but with religious rants, incoherent rambling, and clear intoxication, this more than qualifies as a "flip out."

 
Not a rapper, but you remember when Jaheim wrecked the studio when Wendy Williams asked him if he was he gay! Dude went straight Hulk on that ass! :lol:

out at a Miami beauty pageant, but now he's following
in the footsteps of Whitney Houston and giving a new
meaning to "gettin' ghetto on the radio."
The DJ Sway team at New York's WQHT (Hot 97)
are probably still picking up equipment and scratching
their heads wondering what the heezy?
Jaheim, who appeared on the radio show Tuesday,
became infuriated when he was asked by Jimmy Marr
if he was "a homosexual" during the interview. He
responded by asking Marr the same question and
then he really went off.
According to the Sway team, Jaheim and his
ghetto posse verbally attacked Marr and "busted
up" the studio, breaking microphones and equipment.
"It was like the opening of 'Saving Private Ryan,'"
Sway stated.:lol:
 
Good drop. I remember most of these.:) Where's Nas' interview where he was going off on Hot 97? That one was a classic!:yes:
 
I been trying to find that one where Prodigy called in on Starr and Buckwild trying to play tough, and Starr calmly invited his ass up there to see him the next day. Prodigy kept saying "watch yaself", and Starr kept asking him if he was making a threat... Of course Prodigy tried to make it cool, and ended the convo kissing his ass.

Oh yeah! I'd forgotten about that one. Prodigy was sounding like a straight up bitch towards the end ("Flex, are you with him? I got love for you, Flex. You laughing at me?"), and Flex was laughing at him, but was trying to act like he wasn't. Star was like, "What's the matter, you don't speak English? You want me to break it down to you in 'dun' language? Maybe you'll understand me better if I spoke 'dun'. You want me to speak 'dun'?" :lol:
