Image makes you fame and endorsements. Athletes make more from endorsements than the sport they actually play. tiger woods makes 10million a year from golf and 90million from endorsements to make his 100 million a year.

Image is the reason Bron Bron did not worry about the extra 30million he could have made from signing with the cavs, because nike not to mention the other companies and future endorsers makes him more than that.
