A friend of mine here in LA, received a summons in the mail to appear in court over a red light run and the ticket was $700. Supposedly, she ran a red light and her photo was snapped. She drives a 2007 white Rav4. She said she never received a photo or ticket in the mail. She requested a copy of the photo and wouldn't you know it, there was a Mexican driving a 90's Honda, running a redlight with my friends Tag numbers. Yeah, an illegal. She has to wait to go to court to contest it which takes time away from her job and pay. What's going to happen to the illegal. Nothing.

The owner of the shop was renting rooms to illegals there. One of the guys who got out, was on the news and stated that he was renting a room for about $300/month. The owner denied the guys story. What will happen to that owner, probably nothing as I'm pretty sure they will sweep it under the rug as the owner himself is Mexican.
The other day (Friday) Protesters protesting the bill passed into AZ law shut down a very busy intersection on Wilshire and Highland. For five hours people were stuck in traffic and unable to go about their normal business day because LAPD were waiting on the word of Mayor Villaraigosa to get the go-ahead to breakup the unlawful assembly. There were eight protesters chained together lying in a circle in the middle of the intersection. The majority of the protesters were white, protesting on behalf of the illegals.
Yes, the illegals do work hard, but it doesn't matter as they are not contributing back to the systems what they receive. Illegals come here, have a couple kids, collect from the system and get paid wages under the table. How is that contributing back?

I agree. I think the intent of the law when it was passed is totally different that how it is being interpreted today. But there is no way in hell it will be repealed.

Dont get it twisted, there was crime before Dinkins. I do see alot of paralles between him and the way he was treated (often being sabotaged) and the way Obama is being treated.
Dinkins effectively killed the black political party in NYC, and if Obama follows in his footsteps, then we are in for an uphill battle!

Hotels do not pay under the table. Like you said with restaurants, they have to have a SS#. Even if it's fake, the fact that a worker has a SS# number means they're paying into that particular program and will never be able to collect.
