What do you mean? The waking up in the hospital part?

28 Days Later took that from H.P. Lovecraft. Many of his works begin with a character that was out of the loop in some format...his most popular being coma in the hospital.

Anytime you see a horror movie do the same they are paying homage to his work.

Osborne's Thunderbolts was one of my favorite teams.
I didn't like the first few Heroic Age issues but Now things have picked up.

I still don't know why Crossbones is on the team. He was involved in the death of Captain America. To me he just doesn't fit.

Was it ever mentioned that Rick was killed or died in the hospital and is Hell? I think they mentioned that in one of the early issues.
