This reminds me of that old Flash TV Series in the 90's.
I try not to watch Superhero adaptations because they change so much. But the few i have seen in recent years have been good. Except the Watchmen. That was horrable.

His jacket remind me of Mcgyver,

I give up. They might as well digitize Bill Bixby and say that Hulk can't turn into Banner anymore.

Heres one for you.

Brock Lesnar Smash! UFC Champ Should Play the Hulk

Mark Ruffalo is in talks to play the Incredible Hulk in the upcoming 'Avengers' movie after Edward Norton was ditched. But there's a problem with the way the trades are reporting these casting conundrums: Nobody has been cast as the Hulk himself since Lou Ferrigno slapped on an unhealthy coating of green body paint for the '70s TV series.

That's right -- Ruffalo, Norton and Eric Bana (who was in Ang Lee's 2003 'Hulk') played or would play Bruce Banner, the Hulk's nerdy scientist alter-ego, not the actual monster-hero.

Drayonis,

I was just watching C-Span Harlem Book Fair on Black Comics. Are you involved or belong to any such Black comic organizations?

Using Searchbots.net to find downloadable comics online.

http://www.searchbots.net/

So I started a brand new account.

This is what I put in the cloud.

Comic Books - Dead center.

Free - Off to the left of dead center.

.cbr format - Off to the right.

This what the TAGs brought back.

When you click on the link and let your mouse hover...you get this...

This is start of programming the bot to know if these are the sites you are looking for.

After you go through a few of those and log out...you will then get emails every week...so long as you check the box during registration allowing the bot to email you.

I hope this helps. My original bot was text based but this new visual interface is actually a lot easier and faster.

If anyone still has problems - Talk about it here and we can figure it out as we read some books.

WTF?

Who stated 2 hours of stellar battle?

Green Lantern has a rotating roster of lead characters...It would be best served to start the movie franchise - that will intro this character to a lot of new people - with something that embodies that.

Star Trek was a great movie but it was not an ORIGIN of the Federation. GL should be something more along those lines. Since Green Lanterns span years and years of back history...it would be best served to show how big it is...Now they are going to sell us 1 cat with a ring as he figures out how to use it and then beats up a threat and ends the film with a shit eating grin...with small to little cameos...

I have no idea why you mention all those movies when those characters for the most part tried to hide their ID. Everyone knows that Hal Jordan is a GL. The fucking public calls him Hal not GL.

Fucking DC Defenders :smh:

Green Lantern Back History? WTF - You trying to do BLACKEST NIGHT ThE MOVIE or something?
As for TREK, all they had to do was answer the questions people wanted to know.

Attendance may be low but the outlet for Black comic artists seems to have grown. I remember BrotherMan when I use to live in Harlem. I use to walk into his shop on 125 st and buy his books.
I was very impressed with how far Black graphic novelists had come and how business minded they are. Maybe it's because the digital age/Internet has brought them to the fore front, or helps them organize and communcate with each other. Marvel isn't the only game in the digital age.

I stopped fucking with Marvel. There was a comic book convention at Hostos college in The Bronx. There were a lot more black publishers, writers and artist there.

Yesterday most of the comics there were pushing religious agendas so I was 'No Thanks.'

@ The Bronx Comic Con - You met a lot of industry vets from DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Image and other Indie makers that were Black, Hispanic, Asian and such.

One of the best finds this year for me was a book/novel title 'Knight Seeker' by Eric M. Cooper. A sci-fi, super hero romp that was fun as fuck to read and had a great story that has me looking for more from the maker...
