THE WRESTLING THREAD: BROCK LESNAR HAS ENTERED THE CHAT!!!

I had WCW Nitro and WCW Thunder.....WCW/NWO Revenge had us playing 4 player tag matches for hours on Saturday nights.

I'm pleased to see that the "Monster" Abyss is on his way back full circle. And it looks as if he's joining the ECW crowd. Now, all they need to do is bring back James Mitchell and stop Abyss from talking. Make him a rampaging beast that cuts a swath through TNA and give him a lengthy world title run.


But....something inside tells me that Jay Lethal...even for a short month, WILL get the world title from someone. He's really improved his game.

Hell yes. I wouldn't hook him up with the ECW group but then again, I wouldn't have an ECW group to begin with. Not only is that company long dead, the WWE owns the name and drained life out of it.

Well on Impact, they showed Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Rhino and Steven Richards all walking together. Taz was the one that made note of it.
 
The whole ECW thing though is so played out though. Not the wrestlers but the whole gimmick of "extreme". WWE did that shit a couple of years ago with all of the ECW wrestlers. TNA can't even pull that shit off and I don't trust them too.

Tommy can come in, gets some wins over some lower card heels and then get to putting people over like he's done nearly his whole career. Then in a year, he moves into an agent position and/or booking with Bubba Ray and maybe Ric Flair, all guys who've had success at booking.

I wonder if Mysterio took him out too. A guy bitches about money and hurts 2 wrestlers including one of the 3 biggest stars in the company and he gets rewarded with a title run.

It appears that Stone Cold is the GM. Nice pick. And I see that the WWE just provided further confirmation that Tamina would definitely get it.

I called it, it was either going to be Stone Cold or The Rock. They'll probably say Vince wanted Austin to be the GM so the NXT cats would attack him like they attacked Bret.

I'm not too sure about that yet. Its not like the WWE to come outright with a surprise like a mystery GM this fast. I have a STRONG feeling next week Michael Cole is going to read a email and the GM is gonna end it with a "Do you smell with the GM is cooking?". I just got a feeling they are going to give little clues like these every week to the point where it could be a couple of people you can speculate as GM. I could be wrong but this is the WWE.

They're forming a new faction headed by Ric Flair called Fortune. Okay, not a bad idea and could be good if they do it right. But they're also introducing an ECW faction at the same time. And Abyss is now working for a "they" (maybe ECW faction, maybe not).
As usual, TNA has a lot of good stuff but they have too much going on for it to be as good as it should be.

And stop jobbing out Desmond Wolfe.
The best thing about the upcoming ppv is that either Beer Money or the Motor City Machineguns will win their match instead of both losing.

It's impossible for it to be Austin. It's not his character to stay behind the scenes to give orders.

Austin would've drove down with a beer truck right down to the ring and stunned half of Nexus and beat the shit out the rest of them!:yes:

I just have this feeling that they're gonna blow this angle big time. If it's hhh :yawn: who gives a shit, shane ehh, imo it has to be rock because if it turns out to be cole then let the groans begin. I watched raw on dvr and it was really good but seeing cena standing tall in the ring just shows that he's gonna make all of them look weak.

They are blowing the NXT angle, one week at a time.

It could be Rock but that will make it meaningless since Rock's never going to come back for even a part time schedule.

The beat down of steamboat was great last week but having cena choke out young (shouldn't cena be fired by now) then that bad table spot just made it look stupid.

The Rock wouldn't have to be part time, he could just show up on raw now and then and ppv's. But i highly doubt it's him, it's gonna be cole or abraham washington.
