Is it just me or are there only like 5 women now on SOL????

I know I've taken a hiatus from this side of the board, but I still lurk over here on occasion when I don't see a thread that is intriguing enough for me to respond to.

However, I've noticed from reading at least the threads from the last month or so that there are really responses from like only 5 women.

That's disappointing as hell. I know we have lives off of this shit (at least I hope so) but the frequency peeps used to post over here was extremely higher than it is now, and I'm not referring to the dudes.

Hopefully there's a good explanation for this because you all were the coolest out the lot of those on BGOL.

Anyway, I hope all are good and having productive lives. Just wanted to find out what was up...

For me, it just became less fun to post on here. E-beefs and ignorance, and the same people engaging in e-arguments with others just gets old quick. You study behavior, after a while, and you know who is going to say what, how they're going to say it, and how nothing will change as a result of it

Plus, my relationship got more serious, and I want to spend more time building it than my post count, ya dig? I post every now and then, but not much to say here now...

Ons I dunno...I guess after a while people find other things...I know there are some periods where I cannot post for a week taking care of house and what not but I am sure there are more of us on here lurking than you might think. I guess with being busy we only have time respond to what we feel needs to be responded to I guess...

I lurk mostly. I was a very active poster years ago, but I stopped posting due to e-beef. There are a few women (and men) here that seem to be all about drama and I really try to keep that to a minimum, online and off. There are a few women here who are very cool but they don't post as much. Coupled with the fact that there isn't much I see that I want to post on, and I'm building my own site, I just am stretching myself thin online.

I think you'll find that if some thought provoking threads got started, more people would post. I'm sure as melon said, more are lurking than we realize.

Word. I can understand that. It would be nice if more women chimed in at times though. Schedules, life, etc. are more important than some message board, but if/when there is some time, hearing from more of the ladies (who lurk) would be cool. It would add on to and create more dialogue on the site...
