How For Real Is Black Soap?

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! On my way to get my hair braided, but let me know if you would like to buy some from me!

What's in it?

Why is it supposed to be good? What are the benefits?

(I know I can just Google it, but I'm busy with business stuff at the moment and shouldn't even be on here)

Trying out the black soap and natural shea butter routine starting tonight. Will be checking in to post reviews and shit. May be the soap and butter can remove the birth mark on my second head.

Made from dried plantain skins, palm leaves, cocoa pod powder, and kernel oil for an all-natural cleansing process. Plantains skins are largely what make this soap so effective.

How is it going w/ the african black soap? Please tell me you bought the real soap and not that hard stuff?
Authentic black soap is rarely, if ever, black. It is usually beige or brown and very soft and crumbly in texture; that is one of the unique characteristics of true West African Black Soap.

Its WORKING slowly. I bought dudu son. Whats your opinion on dudu son?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I hate to tell people but that is NOT pure African Black Soap.
Your right it does work slowly....But it overly dries your skin and can cause abrasion because of the preservatives that are NOT listed in the ingredients.

Next time...Let me know! Or...Get the real african black soap. It is NOT hard, does not have preservatives and naturally moisturizes your skin.

Black Soap is VERY real.

However, many who have invested in it, are not investing in an authentic bar.

I don't use it because it melts entirely too fast, for what I pay for it, but that does not negate its effects.

Now, this is our soap, that many people think is "black soap:"
Perfect_Cleanse_soap_large.jpg

We call it Perfect Cleanse, here at Lumeria. It is our best seller, BY FAR! This soap pulls toxins out of your skin. It helps prevent, face acne, body acne, whitheads, and blackheads.

It is actually black because it is an ACTIVATED CHARCOAL soap. Now, any of you that know anything about a natural lifestyle, know that activated charcoal is THE BUSINESS.

I EAT it, BRUSH with it, and BATHE with it! It's the truth.

Try this: Simplicity.
Proceed with caution.. Soap made me DRY... For real dry skin... Hated it.. Jus my 2 cents

Fam, check out the artisan soaps on me and my mate's website. Our soaps are extremely moisturizing. If you have normal to oily skin, you may not even need a moisturizer after showering. IF you have normal to dry skin, look at the link above. Our triple butter, whipped body butter is the TRUTH!

I feel you on soap melting too fast, especially expensive soap. Would you recommend I only use it for my face?

And that Perfect Cleanse, same question, good for only face?

I been using Dr. Bronner's since it was brought up in my other thread, but I don't think it's good for my face (I'm still only halfway handsome, I wanna be full, all the way handsome).

What up, Fam?

I don't use it on my face, but I know cats that do.

Perfect Cleanse is an entire body soap. It pulls toxins from the skin, where ever you choose to bathe with it. We recommend it for face, because humans are superficial, it's the first thing we look at, and if something is not right on it, people are looking for products that will make it right.

And I keep Dr. Bronner's around, but I don't use it NEARLY as much as I used to.

Try us out, Fam. Cats on the board that have are very pleased, so far.

Here's a novel about my soap situation.

The best natural soap I've tried is this Raw Shea Butter Soap

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000J41UO2/?tag=vp314-20 -
it's like $2 (it's an add on item so if you are a Prime member it ships fast on orders over $25.)
I didn't like it at first because of the frankincense scent but it's probably the best soap I've ever used. I see now there are other scents. It actually moisturizes your skin. You can also shave with it just use a brush and a mug/bowl. It creates more lather than many shaving cream soaps.

I've used the Osun and others including natural olive oil based soaps and the Raw Shea by Nubian Heritage is the best. For 2 bones it's not much to try it out. It does kill funk too. Some unscented or natural soaps take longer to get you clean. It doesn't melt away or turn your shower walls black like Osuns do. If you hate mold or black crap dripping down your shower wall that will get tired fast.
It does turn a light blue color on the outside. IDK why it does that. Doesn't affect the soap and it doesn't get soggy like some bars can.

For shaving and washing my face I use that Raw Shea.
For showering I prefer Right Guard Total Defense 5in1(light green label).
I was using Bronner for hand washing due to bullshit about not using antibacterial soaps in order to prevent superbugs (organisms immune to the cheaper antibacterial ingredient added to many handsoaps) and to expose my children to more diseases and let their immune systems work but that shit is a first world problem. People of all ages die from Influenza all the time.
Fuck that. Back to Hibiclens for me dude.

$15 on Amz for 16oz. $55 for a gallon
Hibiclens is the germ apocalypse.
Don't wash your privates or eyes with Hibiclens. You have been warned.

But you won't have contaminated hands afterwards.
Considering it can make you deaf if put into the ears I wouldn't experiment in any genital areas. The shit is Charlie Sheen strength.
