Those are the type he practices day and and day out -- those quick catch and shoot kind but it requires a good screen and poor defense and even when he got the good look he still missed them. As a shooter he need to be more diverse than that come of the dribble or step fake and elevate and he might be a bit better. Kobe has that down pact; hell Kobe can have the whole fucking team on him and knock em down, can't hate on that.

As shitty as he shot that is one thing he did do and that is probably why Doc keep him in instead of bringing in Nate. He also got some good looks for other players when he attacked the paint(forced the defenders inside) which is why I was disappointed when he kept taking all the dumb perimeter shots that he knew he wasn't going to knock down.

That's his style. If LA wins respond days later. Claim you were at the game, ok, but game 6 was Tuesday, and by now people are over the game.

I said this pages ago, this was a game focused on defense. Ray Allen shoot poorly, but played great defense on Kobe, forcing him into tough shots and bad positions on the floor. So,e of kobe's bad shots were just dumb shots, and some were his only option because Ray Allen forced him into corners and when help came he had no passing lane.

One thing i don't get also is, it seems people don't realize these are people too when they watch games, you expend that much energy on defense on Kobe and you're not going to have a ton of energy to drive at will on offense. It's why guys 'settle' for shots sometimes.

But you'll never hear that from these 'O' oriented guys.

It's like i've always been saying i don't believe guys like Cranrab ever played any kind of basketball so they don't understand those types of things. All they know is that according to the "gameplan" things should go a certain way and thats all that matters

I am feeling a lot better...still can't watch any basketball related things and feel sick when I see or hear anything related to the celtics ... I also still can't give credit to the lakers for game 7

In comparison, KG had 3 REBOUNDS!?!?!? A true champion will find a way to help his team win games, even when their shot is off!!! Exactly. Five to ten years from now we won't even remember that Kobe was off of his shooting game, we'll just remember the Lakers beat the Celtics in seven games and they got their 16th championship. :yes:

remembering all the shit that was said when Shaq left and to think Kobe led the team to 3 straight Finals 2 rings and still ready for at least 3-4 more shots at it is amazing.

Magic was my guy I never thought anyone would ever supplant him as the signature Lakers legend and Kobe is basically rewriting the book and taking Magic's place.

Haters are just foolish stat geeks who got into hoops when fantasy sports got big.
