JONESBORO, Ga. -- Undercover drug agents shot and killed an alleged drug dealer Marlo Stansfield, outside a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Clayton County Monday night.
Greg Dickens, a Clayton County police representative, said the shooting happened after narcotics officers purchased methamphetamine from a male suspect.
When police moved in to arrest Stansfield, according to Dickens, he tried to escape in his vehicle and hit one officer.
Another policeman shot and killed the suspect. Dickens said the officer who was struck was not seriously injured.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is reviewing the shooting.
