Ronaldinho left off the Brazilian world cup team....say it aint so???????

Come on man, that's not even recent.

 Just fuckin around man. But in all honesty, I don't see where and how this cat would fit into this squad. One could argue that Brazil's squad is stronger without him.

Personally, I think Kaka is the man running the middle, and he's gonna shine this World Cup.

Pato should be in but not 'Dinho, I guess some of you did not see Brazil's qualifying games or the confederations cup. Dunga now has a squad that plays well and defends well also, it has no time for a luxury player that won't contribute anything when not on the ball, you have fools posting clips from 2003-06 like he is still at that level, yes Dinho has 'skills' but the days of free loading players such as 'Dinho and Riquelme are over, football has moved on.

Cosign..he didnt want a repeat of the last cup...

Found it. Itumeleng Khune.

Pato should be in but not 'Dinho, .

Dunga wants a drama-free time. It is obvious by the choices he made. Pato is going through a very nasty and embarrassing divorce here in Brasil. His head is not in it right and and he only bring drama to the locker room.

That is why he dinho, Adriano, etc arent there. He doesnt want the drama. He wants an inspired and focused team for this cup who will play as a team.

I'm still not quite feeling this team

I wasnt either... Im hoping that they are as good defensively as people think they can be. I would have really liked to see Pato and especially Neymar on that team...

I do know one thing though...they will play much more inspired than the 2006 World Cup team... those cats really didnt give a damn... but they definitely left some very talented players of this roster.

This was a desperation shot and proved very little.

Brazil have a very basic problem; they do not have team speed, and if you have a team of fast players, who run right down their throat, they are trouble. If anyone has noticed, Brazil attack from the back; they build up by moving the ball from one side back to the other while bringing up their backline. When they find a seam on a wing, they overlap a fullback and cross the ball into the crowded middle where they use their superior ball skills to create opportunity in tight space. If you take the ball, and run up their middle, they are in trouble unless their powerful offside trap stops you. Zidane eliminated them in the 2006 World Cup simply by running up their gut.

The reason why teams fail to capitalise on the fundamentally flawed scheme Brazil employs is that most teams are so in awe of them and resort to playing the same football as they do, and thereby fall into the hands of Brazil.

Those who know better usually do not have the speed to exploit this flaw. France, however, which has employed a significant number of Africans or black people since 1986, has the speed to punish Brazil. It is for this reason that since 1986, Brazil has not beaten France in the World Cup. They are 0-3, starting with the game in Mexico City where Brazil were eliminated by France.

If Africans keep a disciplined backline, and challenge the midfield of Brazil with runs down the pipe, they will have a good chance of winning the game.

*Brazil does have fast players like Robinho and Ramires. Their speed, however, is not a part of Brazilian football, wherein they rarely stretch the field.

I can understand that, what about Neymar then (I know its a bit of a reach). The only thing I worry about is who will back up Kaka, I know Diego has not had the best time in Italy but he could have made the squad.

who gives a shit what dunga wants, the world cup isn't all about winning its also about showing off your country's best soccer players and not having one of the best soccer players in the world on the team is stupid

I have no idea why he didnt take Neymar other than they were already strong at that position and maybe he felt Neymar wasnt ready. At this point, I think Neymar is already a better player and Robinho.

Yep man...he got married late last year and got divorced already..but he went wild on this broad.. started partying and shit..and would lock her in the house with no internet, no money, and he would take all the credit cards :lol::lol: her Mom eventually came to Europe to take her home.... he was too damn young to be getting married anyway

Naw homie..if that were the case, they would have won the last world cup because that team was ridiculously stacked. He needs to get together a TEAM that plays well together...not just a bunch of superstars.

exactly

A team >>> an individual.

Brazil flopped last time because they insisted on playing Ronaldo when he was past it. Unfortunately for them they no longer have the best squad in the world. Argentina and Spain are superior in boasting star players. I think building an efficient team is their only option.

But anyway fuck worrying about Brazil.

I have enough problems with England and Nigeria.

The main dude that I am sad to see go is Roberto Carlos, that was defence and good free kicks.

Bingo, my sentiment as well. When it comes to Roberto Carlos, I'm a fan. Four years ago I was just waiting for someone to put a ball somewhere close to his left foot...

This team is a changing of the guard, that's all. Sad to see the "old" players go, but it happens.

Ten of the best from Roberto Carlos...

Lol at Africans doing anything disciplined. Also lol at the imbalanced African midfields winning any battle.
