Laker's vs Thunder Series Thread

huh

we talkin bout the same thing

or are talkin bout lebron again

Kobe choked - this is coming from a Kobe supporter fyi

HUGE choke
Little role reversal here, eh? Cause I don't think that Kobe choked at all, he just missed a shot at the end of the game, but hey that happens.
Now if he were to miss a lay up at the end of the game, that would be a huge choke.
But misses on pull up J's happen all the time.
I think dude who forgot to block out chocked!

Ibaka is good but undersized as well as collison

Thats why Pau was there to easily get the putback, plus they got caught watching the game instead of crashing the boards

Jeff Green is a 3

Thunder needs more length on the inside

good point...as usual, u know your basketball D-Town

C/S. The Lakers knocked Utah out the playoffs the last two years and have proven that they can go into Utah and win critical games.

Exactly. And not only are the missing key players...even the players they still have playing arent completely healthy...it would take a minor miracle for the Jazz to win this series..I would even be surprised to see this one go 6 games...

So does this mean Lakers go straight to the WCF

I wouldn't write off Utah

Are you kidding me? Get the yellow caution tape out, Utah is about to become a crime scene. The Lakers are a better rebounding team and they execute much better half court D than you saw from the Nuggets. Utah may have looked solid but I don't believe the hype.:smh:

I am still not sold on Kevin Durant. Even though he had a couple of big games for the Thunder, it seems to me that he failed at adjusting to the Lakers, adjustment they made on him. It appears that if you play him physical enough, he loses his rhythm and rushes his quick turn around, just a tad causing him to be off.
The problem is that he doesn't seem to know that his shot is off and keeps on shooting as if he has the touch.
The great players adjust their game, and either go to another shot, or make mental adjustments in order to get his rhythm back.
I know he is still young, and has plenty of time and room for improvement, but to compare him to LeBron and Kobe, at this point, is pure foolishness. If anything he looks more like a young Tracy McLady (remember he was nice when he was young, and people swore he would one day blossom and become one of the best players, but due to injuries, and his inability to adjust his game, he became a one trick pony, that is more flash than substance).

He shot with some one in his face and missed the shot. How is that a choke?

He missed SEVERAL critical shots at the end of the game

And if you are Kobe one on one ISOLATION against ANYONE with 10+ sec left should be an EASY bucket

Lakers should be a lock for the Finals if they even play half-decent ball...

Cranrab will not like this

Durants shot was not falling tonight but he did well in attacking and getting to the line

He will be ok

Maybe he will be ok, but, until I see more from him, I am not sold. Again the thing that makes me wonder, is how he kept shooting that shot not making any adjustments, or realizing how off he was.:smh: Thats that Tracy McLady shit! But we shall see.....
BTW what he needs to do, is try to work on that body, get some upper body strength so that he can at least post up strong players like Artest and James.

Did we watch the same game?

How is it even possible to choke when you have a guy in your face and you miss a shot

I take choking as missing foul shots at the end of a game or missing an easy layup like the college chick who missed two easy layups, thats choking.

Kobe was 1 for 4 in the fourth quarter not 1 for 10.

:lol::lol: Theyve been doing so far...especially with refs they choose for the Dallas series

man honestly some of the national announcers need to call stern out on this ref selection. its bullshit when teams get the ref that hates them. certain refs just shouldn't be allowed to deal with certain teams.

If Lakers pull this bullshit against the Spurs? They are gonna lose that shit. They got lucky they faced an inexperienced Thunder team but let me remind you that you saw a 21 year old Durant out there. That man is gonna be viscious.
