Last year's #48 pick, Darcel McBath, only got a $3.85 million deal over 4 years, with $2 million guaranteed. I know quarterbacks get a premium, and the Panthers will probably give him a little something extra to soothe over his ego, but his might only get half of the $10 mill. That sucks.
Next year's gonna be a quarterback rich draft, so even if he had returned to Notre Dame for his senior year, and Michael Floyd was healthy, he still might have fallen.

Spears doesn't want out of Dallas. It seems like Dallas wants him out of Dallas.
I don't get it myself. He had his best year as a Cowboy last season. He's a 3-4 defensive end who's great against the run. But he sure as hell better not trade him for a running back I know that shit. Not when we already got 3 and one needs to go as it is. Jets better be giving up a 3rd or 4th next year for Spears. Only reason he's expendable is because Bowen and Hatcher are cheaper and have also shown they can contribute.
I am hoping Tennessee picks up Blount we need some size in the backfield.
