I'm not going to create an education forum, we have enough forums right now that are not being supported. If you want to make the education forum the sub forum of one of the existing forums, I have no problem with that.

HNIC
Religion sub-forum >>> Education sub-forum in initial interest and on-going participation, that's a guarantee.

Plus it has benefits for the main board, such as when those topics occur less over there, all religious people who prefer to spend their Sunday mornings on BGOL looking for porn will be able to find it easier and more guiltlessly.

Both would have benefits but a religion forum/sub-forum is more likely to succeed, IMO.

You are a trip..........

There is a copy of this thread on the Biz sub-forum.

Bro, respect still but Education shouldn't be no thread.

Overstand?

We need an Education Forum.

Get rid of that DIY Forum and that could become a thread in the Education Forum.

But we need an Education Forum, not a thread. Replace that shit if necessary.

There is a Comic Forum so I don't know what the problem is.

Why is there a problem with education?

I think you misunderstand... I was merely observing that a copy of the thread was over there. I too am curious about the decision to un-sticky this thread.

i said this once years ago

have an education forum on basic reading, spelling, math or whatever - this way dudes lurking who are weak on these things can get the info w/o being embarrassed or ashamed.

hell, we already have one w/the books forum damn near...all the info on job interviewing, learning different languages, building wealth etc etc....

Nuff said right here, the spelling on bgol is atrocious and yes sometimes we're writing fast but most often it's just lack of proper comprehension of grammer and sentence structure.

Threads dedicated to that with links for spell check and the like would help folks on here without question. Swallow that pride and use it, this is coming from someone who worked in NYC BoE and have seen countless memos and letters written by staff from Principal to english teacher who couldn't spell to save their life.:smh:

Btw OP, the way you skewed the vote options was really not necessary, I'm sure you KNOW this. You're advocating an education forum, one should set the precedent to lead by EXAMPLE in any discussion of the topic don't you think?

Editting "Fuck that" might be a start.

You must not be aware of the advocacy history of this Education Forum

No education forum. This is a porn board. We already have enough sub forums. Anyway, most of the people here are unteachable. They are mainly short bus niggas. If anything, just point the few of us literate niggas to valid information.

i don't think kayanation does understand the purpose of the threads in the biz/networking forums.

those are in there to allow the content people say they want in an education forum...

it's been what 3 days and not one post has been created outside of what was done day one....

that's the point i'm trying to make. the forum will be made yet no one will post in it. instead of making a whole complete forum...renaming the biz n networking to networking and continuing education forum, so it's not a loss.

S why can't the DIY Form be renamed the Education Forum and put DYI as a thread in it.

Is that too much? Cause it's along the lines of what you suggested.

Your thought?

Well said! Public education is so f-ed up now. Teachers are being furloughed, government is taking over schools which requires the firing of all staff, and resources are limited. The state of Georgia cut about 2 billion from its educuation budget and NY 1.1 billion. That's insane!:hmm: Students will be sitting in classes with 35+ students and eating sack lunches next year.

So Im all for the "Ed Forum". Leave No Child Left Behind.. Behind!

Real talk kinfolk, unless there's a wide range of overspending and misuse of funds, this is some complete monkey shit

Bro, these white folks created schools that are separated by economic zones and demanded funding from the states.

Now the states are saying fuck you.

Brown vs Board of Education was about equal funding not a black kid sitting next to white kids.

It was about equal funding.

By funding school based on zones, whites ran a segregated system with the same outcomes.

They were free to inflate grades for their kids and at the same time get funding from the states.

Tables have turned.........
