I read this not knowing this was going to be 616.
It is an excellent book and I like a lot of the puzzles that were in the artwork...
How many of you guys caught the Sentry?
Anyway, while this book looks promising that fact that it's in the 616 means that it is open to retcon and resets. Which has me at the 'Wow this is good.' and 'Wow I hope they don't fuck it up.' I mean this book is a retcon.
Some of the scenes in the background were great.

In that image of where Apocalypse is that entire front line where he was in was all ancient Marvel heroes.

Anybody else thinking that with all the Deadpool appearances and the God Awful Deadpool Corps this is just Marvels way of making the character relevant enough to push the upcoming movie with core fans? I loved the character when he was just an antihero with a mouth. Now he's not even nearly as well written as in the days of the Cable Deadpool series and shows up EVERY FUCKING WHERE!

Marvel Is grooming him to be their 3rd hoe, Right next to Spider Man & Wolverine...and just like with those two, when they guess star out of place its usually a bad sign for the Comic (low sales)

You did not see Imhotep? The man who was inspired from Black Panther and Captain America's appearance back in the day when the Avengers went back in time and fought and defeated Pharaoh Rama-Tut...who was actually Kang...who also tried to trick a young En Sabah Nur?
The Louyang Dynasty images that actually were the reason for the creation of Shangra-La? aka Iron Fist hometown.
There is a host of other stuff hidden in some of the image that I would not expect casual readers to be into because they were designed to be ARGs...the stuff I mention above is surface level.
Just connect the dots...some of this stuff should be experienced...

That's just what I was thinking.
About a year ago they turned him into a joke and I lost interest in the character.
Don't get me wrong he has had some really funny moments but he's not a comedian he's a killer.
They need to find a balance between the two.

i've been mentioning this for the longest.. for the most part its funny, i mean its deadpool.. i even chuckled on the train this morning reading deadpool corps 1 and cable 25 (or deadpool and cable 51) he's on the second cover of avenger comics BUT the worst offense was his appearance in world war hulks 1

Yeah the Bob shit made me chuckle but beyond that they are tanking him. Marvel is trying to bring in new meat but dude is literally everywhere at once. If he shows up in any of the post Realm of Kings books I'm done.

I refused to see the Wolverine movie. I was Deadpool's face (what star wants to wear a mask?) in the commercials and knew I couldn't take it.
