Which way is the bus below traveling?

To the left or to the right?

Can't make up your mind?

Look carefully at the picture again ... it'll come to you ...

By the way, over 90% of pre-schoolers answered the question correctly.
.

ummmm that hemicircle with 3 squares & 2 circles is not moving

Nooooooooooooo ...

It's not an optical illusion. It's a very simple drawing of a bus. Looking at the picture as it's represented, which way would the bus be traveling?
Thant's the question.

;)

where is the doors?????? that has to mean the bus is going towards the left i assume unless it is a bus from some foreign country :confused::confused:

Oh my goodness, Ya'll got me laughin' so hard...

Normally I would say forward, but assuming that this is incorrect and the bus has a purpose I would say towards me...or sideways.

cosign and I bet thats the answer. A preschooler would be looking for the doors. If they're on the other side then it must be traveling left.

Bingo.

This test was administered to two control groups, a group of pre-schoolers and a group of PhD Engineers. While the Engineers were busy analyzing the drawing of the bus for asymmetries, >90% of the pre-schoolers had answered correctly.

That answer is stupid.

There's no driver, so the bus can't be moving.
But even if we were to play the game their way.
Don't buses have reverse gears?

you are over thinking it that is why so many adults can't solve the problem.

Exactly! I've seen so many buses "traveling" in reverse.

Besides, where's the rims on the bus and the side indicator lights? And fuck is up with the floating wheels ... :smh:

Look, I understand that it is supposed to be a basic drawing, but why would I assume that there is even a door on the opposite side if things like "rims" and "side indicator lights" are missing?

 WTF man. Really? Really? LOL

:hmm: yeah really.

The door can just as easily be on this side and have been left out, seeing as it's a basic picture.

if you want to say that i can also ask where is the drivers window? you assumed there was no driver but you really cant tell because there is no window where the diver would be. again over analyzing this pic is the reason why so many adults couldnt answer the questions
