The thing that get me is that all of these events have happened in the last few years.
There haven't been any self contained Avengers stories in a loooong time.
It all leads up to the "Big Earth Shattering Event" where "Things Will Never Be The Same". But it the Earth is never shattered and things go right back to the way they were.
I think Marvel has been trying too hard to attract new readers and forgot about their real hardcore fans.

This was a really good read.
Good book but what was the point of putting the in the Dark X-Men they didn't do anything special. In Fact what was the point of the Dark X-Men period?
I thing Meg said it right.
If you just started reading comics you would love all of these shake ups, But for those of us that see 40-60 years of history being tossed out the window in order to sale a few more books.
You get kind of Jaded.
Not to say that I haven't enjoyed Dark Reign because I have. I'm just looking at it for what it is: A Michale Bay movie put in book form.

Agreed. The Dark X-Men book was simply a waste of paper.
Between Joe Quesada and Michael Bendis, Marvel is going down the creative crapper.

It was simply a way of bringing in Nate Grey. That's it and that's all.

There is no one in his class yet for him to fight. So you know all of the fights are going to be about him fucking up someone else's program.
The only 3 that we know that can deal with Max on equal footing are Plutoian, The Twin and the US Deamon.
Writing could be better but the book is young.

its been good so far, it wasnt an action packed issue with great dialoge but since its only the 4th issue in what seems to be a larger scheme of things..
i can be forgiving if an issue is just alright, as long as its not every single issue just being ok..

Another character John Byrne defined that has just been trashed in recent years.
They have changed her personality so much she doesn't seem like the same person.
