Do motorcycles not pull as hard at 100+ mph or do the riders get scared?

On a highway last night. A motorcycle was ahead of me. He guns it I gun it. I catch him around 95 mph. I'm pulling away at 120 mph, in 4th gear I think. Mind you, I'm in an SUV (Porsche). I thought this bike would leave me.

BTW, just copped a 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible. It is going to be a marvelous summer.
 
What type of bike was it? 600? 1000? 1300? I've had kats try that while on my 'Busa and I've pulled away quickly moving over 100MPH.

In 98% of cases, it's the rider, not the bike.
 
Had to be like a 250 or 500. Almost anything 600 or more should have had no problem leaving you in the dust, unless dude was real fat.
 
Couldn't tell what it was. It wasn't a super sport bike. Yes, he was kinda big.

Definitely the conditions/rider, a bike is lighter faster quicker than your Porsche Truck, when I'm on my zx-9 I rarely race cars unless I'm in a straight away or in a pack. Aint shit sexy about hanging in a tree with my arms rapped around my ass!

keep in mind a busa has about as much horsepower as many cars

many of these dudes mod them out to almost 200 hp

(pulling 700 pounds including rider) :eek:

He took off, I hit my sport button, downshifted to 2nd and mashed out. He was leaving me for a bit. I stopped mashing at 120 mph cuz I didn't know I was going that fast and a bend as well as some cars were ahead.

I think he was trying to race me. It wasn't like I was leaving him I went from being 30 feet behind to 20 feet ahead. I've got 385 hp and 369 lb-ft but hauling 5000 lbs. We started around 60 mph and like I said went to 120 mph.

The g37 is nice, did u get the S model 6sp or u chickened out and got the auto?

I will be upgrading my 04 G35 sedan for a 2010 G37S 6sp sedan. Wanna race? :hmm:

Got a wife so I must have an automatic. Holla at Infiniti of Englewood, NJ. They deal in volume and gave me a great price. 2010 wound up being cheaper than a 2009. Aren't you a police officer that likes Porsches? Take a look at a Cayman. At least test drive one. I was at the Porsche dealership the other day and they have phenomenal sales right now. $8-25K off.

8 to 25k on a Cayman? Man the only Porsche I want right now is the Panamera in aritc white on 20in wheels.

Right now Infinit of Maasapequa is offering me no money down 379 a month lease 36 months on the G37S sedan... I can't beat that.

Porsche wants a grip on a lease for the Panamera, I can't go there dropping 1k a month on a lease :smh:
 
rider was either not racing you, or he was on a 500 and had nothing left. Dudes in cars kill me. Yeah, your shit is fast...for a car. But my bike weighs like 400 pounds and will pull on just about anything!


I get tested by Vettes all the time. I rarely engage, because it wouldn't even be close (and isn't worth the risk. I don't have to impress anyone), but here's a REAL race: 3-5 miles of my bike vs. your car...then we switch. how big are your balls with no doors, no stability control, no seatbelt and only two tires? Now you gotta avoid potholes instead of simply driving over them, watch out for sand, adjust as the wind blows you all over the lane. just saying.:hmm:

The rider has to know how to get in his tuck and "get under" the windscreen, and pull his entire body into the bike (thighs clentched to tank, lets tucked to sides).

If the rider doesn't know how to ride, yeah, you can start catching him at speed over 100.

I hate when them muthaphuccaz in cars be trying to race me too. :smh: I got an '08 GSX-R 1000, and it's always some whiteboy that be tryna gun his shitty ass engine at me at the light. And get this; the majority of the time it be shitty ass Honda Civics..... Civics :lol: Hate you fools in your four wheel cages tryna fucc with me and my Gixxer.
