Sources. Amare to Cavs almost a done deal..

If the Cavs don't win this yr it will be a hugh fail... Lebron the most over hyped bitch to never get a ring

Amare is overrated, and him and Shaq will just clog the lane which take away Lebron from getting in the paint.

Steve Kerr and Danny Ferry played together briefly as Cavs maybe Kerr trying to give a championship to Cleveland. but whatever it takes we need this championship!! Hot damn Cleveland will be off the hook in June!!!!

This is a dumb move hoping they have a quicker bigger body to fight off DHoward...It would be soo funny if the Cavs still didnt win...then what would the naysayers say..After this lackluster weekend for the All star ..they need to something to make fans stay watching the NBA..cant wait for NFL draft.

 :itsawrap:

This is bullshit. Why are teams trying to help the Cavs out? The fuck is going on with the NBA?

Its rigged man...they need powers. If this shit happened, I wouldn't be shocked if D-Wade went to NYC in the offseason. Although, I wish the NFL went back to this...leagues are better when your marquee teams are on point. "Parity" sucks

Mavs never get steals like this!

:smh:
We STILL need a 2 guard...

Amare couldn't play with Shaq in Phoenix, this might not work out, and Hickson is a better defensive player.

Amare is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy better than Hickson, so this is a MAJOR upgrade for my boys :dance::dance:

an if they get Big Z back then we straight, I just feel he deserves to get a ring with Cleveland

This deal does not address the Cavs needs. Amare is overrated.
Amarie got alot of his points through Steve nash running pick & rolls..dude is not really a half court back to the basket center he's really more of a power foward..his skill level cant compete with a Pau gasol, or a Tim duncan...which is why they dropped him to the 5 dont really see why u fuck up thier team chemistry with 30 games to go during season...the cavs dont have a problem with big men this year..their bread & butter is their mid range & perimeter shooting..they should just focus on that!

you're overthinking....how can the Cavs say no to this? they have to pull the trigger, Hickson is a nice prospect but Amare is too good to ignore.

I still think this is what will prevent the Cavs from getting to the finals:

his "Lebron on 5" playoff offense isnt going to win a title
Maybe he has a different plan this year :dunno:

man i think most of them are scared lakers fans

since i hate l.a and im a philly fan

im all for it

so if you run the cavs you are gonna pass on amare for hickson right
First and foremost Cavs management had dropped the ball for years concerning building a team around Lebron. They are a joke. That being said, if i fonud myself in this position i wouldnt pursue Amare. Like i said a few times, he just doesnt address a need, he's a poor defender, subpar rebounder, and his range ends just inside the elbow. He would also alter my rotation by his inability to play on th ecourt effectively with Shaq. On top of that he's not worth the money he makes or will demand in the offseason should he opts out. The motherfucker is 8years in and doesnt have a go-to move. He's a overpaid, athletic, finisher. I would go with Jamison or Murphy (for the reasons i stated earlier).

Granted, if you pair him with Lebron he's gonna do well off of his talent and Lebrons greatness alone. But the move is not needed nor does it improve the actual team or make them better. So to answer your question, No. I wouldnt do it.

werent they free agents tho:confused:

if so, there isnt any fuckery there

They weren't free agents. Both were traded to the Celtics. I love how everybody forgets these trades.

On June 28, 2007, the Sonics traded Allen and Glen Davis, the 35th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, to the Celtics in exchange for Delonte West, Wally Szczerbiak, and the fifth overall pick, Jeff Green.

On July 31, 2007, Kevin Garnett was traded to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Sebastian Telfair, Gerald Green, Theo Ratliff, cash considerations, Boston's 2009 first-round draft pick (top 3 protected) and the 2009 first-round pick Minnesota had traded to Boston in the Ricky Davis-Wally Szczerbiak trade of 2006.

dude those other teams received quality players and high draft picks

there is no fuckery there

While this is a good deal for Cleveland as far as the starting five is concerned, but what about the bench? Won't the bench suffer ?

:yes::yes:Pre-injury I would go with Amare, but I don't know about now...It is definitely an upgrade though but remains to be seen how much, shit I was liking the way Hicksons game was coming along, aggresive to the basket, hustle play and defense, he just needs time to grow in the league...Jamison would definitely be a beast though...:yes::yes:

man why is everyone acting like Hickson is an all star all of a sudden

dude gets off when lebron is in the game

when lebron isnt on the floor u cant find the dude

with amare, cleveland can finally rest the king and still have a scorer on the floor

this shit isnt really debateable

This is so obvious that I cant understand why people dont see this. He may not be the wing player they need... but there is no doubt that dude can score and that is something they need to take the pressure off of Lebron.
