Re: ***The OFFICIAL Super Bowl XLIV Discussion Thread (Saints vs. Colts in Miami, FL)

This was the BEST half-time show ever along with Prince and U2.

Re: ***The OFFICIAL Super Bowl XLIV Discussion Thread (Saints vs. Colts in Miami, FL)

Finally....We need a 3 and out right now

Re: ***The OFFICIAL Super Bowl XLIV Discussion Thread (Saints vs. Colts in Miami, FL)

I agree, but the NFL should stop fucking with all these old acts. Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Prince all in the last few years. Real talk though, Prince was perhaps the GREATEST Super Bowl Performance ever.

amen!! last good show was ms. jackson!! :D

Though old, I thought Springsteen was great. He brings so much energy, that you don't even think about his age. The music and vibe trumps that.

The others... well, they're old as hell and performed "old".:smh:

In all seriousness that stage lighting was the shit. LED Technology is making for some hot shit. Cant wait to see the opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics.

I think we all appreciate the Who, but THAT performance was just average. Light show made it palatable.

Springsteen last year was good, but the short 12-15 minute venue for a group like Bruce and the E-Street Band doesn't do justice to their music, especially on a live set. If the NFL ever puts Dave Matthews Band in a halftime show, I would be :angry::angry:. Have you ever heard their live sets? Their improvised live sets take their 4 minute songs and turn them into 14 minute epics!

Re: ***The OFFICIAL Super Bowl XLIV Discussion Thread (Saints vs. Colts in Miami, FL)

I agree. It's hard for any group to give you their full flavor in such a compacted period of time.

Re: ***The OFFICIAL Super Bowl XLIV Discussion Thread (Saints vs. Colts in Miami, FL)

That was big for them

Re: ***The OFFICIAL Super Bowl XLIV Discussion Thread (Saints vs. Colts in Miami, FL)

That's the type of call you have to make when you're the underdog and you're playing against one of the best qb's ever, you win by keeping it out of his hands as much as you can.

Re: ***The OFFICIAL Super Bowl XLIV Discussion Thread (Saints vs. Colts in Miami, FL)
