this post is bs, does atl have lots of gays yes, if u ask me there are more bisexual women than men. But, the article posted gives no scientific evidence, where are the stats, etc.........It's like I can make an article saying Philly has passed Detroit and New Orleans for poorest black cities. I can state all the unemployment, all the crime, and poverty, most of ya'll ngz would run with it because it seems logical, but this dumn azz article gave absolutely no statistics it said atl has 29 gay bars, u really think that's more than San Fran and NY, shyt Miami has a lot of that shyt going on. But, the thing that really proved this article bs was the cities that followed Atl, "Burlington, Vt., Iowa City, Bloomington and Madison, Wis." YEAH RIGHT.

All those buying this bs have to be the typical Atl bashers. Is there a large gay community out here? YES, but outside of midtown, downtown, and buckhead u don't really see it out in the open like that. But, yeah there's a large gay community in Atl but I refuse to think there's more in Atl than in other big cities, especially NY, Miami, San Fran, etc...

As a new transplant to ATL, there are a whole lot more gays here than i've seen in all my travels. In my younger days I've traveled the country and have had the privilege to live in many different american cities. ATL for sure tops the list of gay people. Funny thing.. one day, i was having a convo with the wifey and daughter and they both said the same thing. We all came to the same conclusion on our own regarding the number of gay people here in ATL. ATL has a lot to offer cultural, entertainment, education & economics wise, so we go about our business without getting into other business we have no business being in.

:lol::lol::lol:

I think Niggas missed that...

But truthfully I got gay family members 2 dudes and one girl...But I never seen them holding hands or doing gay activities....So I just couldn't imagine living in ATL and seeing dudes holding Hands walking down the street...

No wonder the Freaknic fizzled out! They shut down the heterosexual activities so the homo shit could jump off!:smh:

I remember back in the day Freaknic was the shit !!!! You had hoes right and left, up and down, and for it to come to this. Aren't half of BGOL members in Atlanta ????

i live in atlanta and yes it mad gay out here..:smh::smh:..to me it look like gays are taking over everywhere...:smh::smh:

it's getting cazy out here

I was down there last month and it seems like they dont try to hide it or nothing. There are a lot of lesbos down there as well.

Man, these damn women are lost. That's why I won't even fuck with a woman that has a gay best friend (male or female but especially male). Who knows what's acceptable to her? I'll pass. Every chick I've met like that has been bad news.

word up *daps* the one ex i had drama with had one of those habitual line stepper ass faggots for a best friend.....nothing good ever came out of that woman

Why do u niggaz think ATL was a hotspot for entertainment...Couldnt be the talent after a while,...most of the record execs are gay and it was the new sodom n gomorrah. I keep tellin these rappers that come to the studio, alot of them gun toteing, 39inch rim ridin, bad-bitch grindin niggaz have sold their souls to be in the biz!!!!

Shit is like the T-virus in resident evil! Yall niggas in the A need to get the fuck out now. Before these dudes show up and infect you!

It's like what several people said. If all you do when you come here is go to midtown or Lenox then yes that's the majority of what you are going to see. Not really as obvious in other areas.

yep..a whole alot of lesbos are down here...:smh::smh:..that why i don't socialize with not too many people down here..you never know..:smh::smh:

gays are taking over....we are in trouble..:smh::smh:

yup.. i love the city, but the gay shit is everywhere... no more escaping it..

and sadly all the youngsters are being raised to think that shit is cool

I made a thread about this a Atlanta being the new Sodom and Gomorrah and got the 5th degree. Many folks always praise the women to men ratio but fail to realize that statistic is so screwed. They fail to take into account the lesbian or pretend to be lesbian females and other situations.

Is the gay population in ATL that overwhelming?

Man I went to Atlanta a few years ago, visitied the mall downtown and was like WTF?

IS THIS WHOLE CITY GAY?

I've never seen so many gays gathered in one city.

Sucks that we've got that title as the gayest city but after awhile you don't notice the shit just like you don't notice the fat bitches.

Or at least I don't anyway.

There used to be a few soft ass dudes in my neighborhood when we were growing up. If they had an older brother they got on them. If they didn't we got on them. We didn't beat they ass(all the time) be we did make sure they didn't sit around the females all day playing with barbie dolls and shit.

I have a buddy that is the coach of the softball team I play for and dude is not soft by any means. But his son was the youngest of three, he had two older sisters and he was a mommma's boy. His son was ultra feminine from about 4 til 10. His pops broke his ass from that shit though. Little dude made a 360 cause of his pops. He's hooping and playing football now. I used to feel sorry for my buddy cause when his son used to show up at the games and start running around with his wrist flapping in the wind you could tell it bothered the shit out of him. I commend that brother on a job well done!

Fuck is this shit:confused:

:eek::eek:

The rest of the crew is even worse......

Man I love ATL, BUT more than a few ATL native peeps I have down there are highly questionable at times...Too many artists down there are suspect as fuck..
NIggas get away with a lot of shit that would get you stomped out in the northeast back in the day...:smh:

I think i made the right choice by leaving.

Lets not jump the gun my niggaz.

The article admitted that the study was "unscientific," therefore the labeling of Atlanta as America's "gayest city" is without merit.

It's nothing more than an effort (by the White media) to demonize and socially isolate a well-to-do and predominantly Black city that is chock full of professional Black men and women who are largely heterosexual.

Don't you get it? First they want to label ATL as super gay. If ATL is super gay, then the next reasonable assumption to be made is that it's also full of HIV/AIDS and Black women should stay away.

If Black women are straying away from a predominantly Black city that has its share of professional Black men (not saying that ATL is the only place that has them), then our Black women are less than likely to hook up with a Black mate.

The powers that be want to "dilute" us out of existence. If Black men aren't having children with Black women, and those bi-racial kids refuse to identify with being Black (see Tiger Woods) those kids will continue the trend their parents started by marrying outside of their race, and in turn having children that are less identifiable as Black with each successive generation.

Do the knowledge ya'll. This shit is a whole lot deeper than it appears.

Great points and definitely true, but to an extent. There is obviously a growing problem w/ homosexuality and HIV in our communities and it will continue if we don't properly raise our children. I'm 32 and I remember I didn't even know truly what a gay person was until my teens! Now in the school system young girls are outcasted for not being bi! What's next, young boys!?! Don't think it can't happen!
