I was disappointed my friends. :smh: Worst of all, I think you will be too.

In a nutshell, excellent concept, weak script, weak story, poor pacing, and weak direction. :smh:

And it only gets a plus because of the concept, other than that...:hmm:

Pay to see this flick at your own risk. Either catch a matinee, or sneak peep it (you know, sneak into the theater without paying for it after you watch another movie).

Nah that movie was straight fire!

Lmao I thought the audience was gonna clap at the end but the shit was so gruesome it shocked the audience a bit lmao i love gore but even i was shocked.

I can't wait until they do a prequel or sequel. I give it 5 stars .
 
Just watched this flick and it is not worth the money. I've downloaded a lot of shit worth paying for and I guess this is my payback,,having to watch some shit that is not worth paying to see.
It's like a bunch of dumb ass vampires who have no abilities, can't see shit in the dark, can't regenerate health any faster than normal people, and they fuckin ate up all their food supply. This movie is like TrueBlood on crack. It makes you appreciate TrueBlood that much more, especially since Trueblood at least got people fuckin in it.

I thought the movie was excellent. I liked the real world scenario. I liked the fact that the vamps had actual emotions (the beginning foreshadowed a lot of themes in the movie) and thoughts and weakness outside of the traditional superstition.

They kept the vampires just right kept all the things that made em cool but eliminated all the corny comic book stuff so that they could make a unique story.

I absolutely hated true blood :smh:. I thought the show was mad corny.

This movie was more science fiction than fantasy.

How many times are we gonna get to see vampires move fast, turn into bats, fly, glamour/Charm people and have super strength. There're hundreds of stories like that already.

This one was fresh and new and made me excited about vampires again. :yes:

I didn't post a "real" review because I didn't want to spoil the flick for those who have not seen it by offering too many details. When I see a film, of course I want to know what it's about generally, but I don't want details, I want to be "surprised," ya dig? I thought that I was being thoughtful and considerate by not saying too much.

I agree... They put the vampires in a real world setting. There was no room for all of the fiction type vampire. They had skills, but the skills would be pointless against other vampires.

I'm not a review writer, but I will say I liked it. Some people clapped at the end and some people complained.. This is one of those movies you either hate or love. I think you will like it if you went in with no preconceived notions about the movie. If you think your going to see a "Blade or an Underworld" then you will be disappointed.

Is it me or did this movie remind you of the HIV epidemic? The company that massed produced the blood substitute only wanted to temporarily fix the issue, but did not want a cure. It was never about a cure.. They never wanted to cure anyone of the "Vampire" disease.. The money was in the temp fix, not a cure.
 
Never was the biggest vampire fan, will wait until a good copy hits the net or Netflix

Yeah man. Almost every movie that comes out 90% of this board says they suck. I have seen a lot of good movies that a lot on here said was horrible.
