Your joking right? They seemed pretty sure that nothing was growing from that lone right hand, it seems like Wolverine is the Herpes of the comic book universe.

At least Ultimate Spider(teen)man wasn't boring shit, shit Kitty and Wolverine were a lot more interesting in the spiderman issue than the X-men.

Personally, I never liked Wolverine. From his debut he has always been one of those characters that seemed like he would have very little to 'worry' about and therefore seemed boring to me.

Out of the X-MEN, growing up, I liked Longshot. His powers were all about chance and despite his background - slave, forced entertainer, breeder - he still managed a good and fun loving spirit that never felt forced. After that I liked Forge and even more obscure X-MEN that most people would have trouble remembering

Ultimate Spider-Man is very good at this time but I fear once they reveal who The HOOD is...there will be little to keep me reading the book...unless Spidey and Friends stay team bound for a solid run or permanently (I doubt it).

Ultimate Avengers is OK. I like the Red Skull a great deal. The rest of the books is sub par for me. That book has a real lack of villains that need to be introduced soon.

Ultimate X looks like it may start out good but I hope they stick to not bringing anyone else back.

His claws? Nah. They had claw weapons yeah but that's been taken from many of the Jubei and Ninja stories from Japan...Which were the original inspirations for Wolverine himself.

Scott's character was/is not built that way. I should say...He tried that and it bombed so bad that he took it out on himself for years.

He took the high road years ago and left the X-MEN, did the father thing, did the husband thing...in the process look what happened...Mutant Massacre and The Nimrod Scare...and more

Years ago there was a book in X-Factor where he was alone talking to a stranger about things on his mind. He went down the list of all of things that he feels guilty for and one of them was trying to live a 'normal' life while others like him (mutant/X-men) were still in the fight.

The stranger was like...Man we are all flawed you have to understand your flaws, accept them...yet still try to overcome them and on top of all that enjoy life....a few issues later his son was infected and being sent to the future...

Scott has already been through so much, but at times in his career, as a team leader (mutant leader) he has tried to fit other people's mold so that he can make his team (people) life easier.

Not that he needed Emma but with her at his side he can feel comfortable being who he is suppose to be.

You think Jean would be cool with that cat running shit like he is now - With all of that 'don't kill shit' they forced down her throat...

Scott's already been down that camino.

His major flaw, that I have seen recent writers work on, is his inability to delegate task of worth to others. Now he is doing that but remember when he was trying to be the repair cat...tried science too...and other X-MEN had to tell that cat...YO go back to the fucking danger room and press buttons we got this shit....(Forge and Beast) LOL

Oh and the kiss on the grave....Jean has done much worse to that Scott while he was alive so fuck all that.

Psylocke would be a very poor choice. She is not a long term thinker. Besides they only thing they would share is lust. Outside of that no long term value.

Also, it's the fact that characters with small hints of vast power suddenly being declared Omega just so that they can get a popularity/importance boost. If Magneto were declared Omega-class, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Everyone has seen the powers he possesses/uses, and, more importantly, obvious showings of what he can do with them. Emma always stayed at a Cyclops-ish level of power. She was powerful, but had obvious weaknesses. But now, she's omega-class, and yet, no one ever even hinted at it. It's ridiculous.
