What If Astonishing X-Men 01
Question: This Hope/Jean thing got me a little worried and I was just wondering s the Astonishing X-men in the same universe as the Uncanny?
Yes - They are in the same U - 616.
AWWWW dam, seriously? So what are my X-men options? After reading ultimate X-men I vowed not to ready anything involving Jean, Cyclops and Wolverine.
That shit reminded me too much of the X-men cartoon were Cyclops two favorites words were "yes professor" and "Jean" while Wolverine's was "jean" shit got real old real fast.
I started with the New X-men then went to Astonishing route and they great, but I made the stupid mistake of reading X-men forever because i read that Storm killed Wolverine. But it turns out Cyclops is still acting like a bitch and Jean found a replacement in Beast.
So once again what are my options?
Ultimate Cyclops is dead. He got shot in the back of his head live on CNN right after Ultimatum.
Ultimate Wolverine is dead. Well at least as you know him. His atoms were scattered and only his right hand survived and grew a new body but that new person has no memories of who he use to be and only has admantium on this right forearm and claws. I think he is 16 to 18 years old again and will one day become Cable.
Ultimate Jean Grey is one of the 4 surviving X-Men left alive after Ultimatum.
Ultimate is about all I read now from Marvel.
I hear you though. The minute Ultimates goes back into that OKEY DOKE nonsense...I will drop all of those BOOKS also and that will be the last of Marvel (Superhero books) I would mess with.

Your joking right? They seemed pretty sure that nothing was growing from that lone right hand, it seems like Wolverine is the Herpes of the comic book universe.
At least Ultimate Spider(teen)man wasn't boring shit, shit Kitty and Wolverine were a lot more interesting in the spiderman issue than the X-men.
