Night of the Living Dead - in the BIBLE????

My take on this: Gen.1 speaks of God's creation period. A seven day period (or seven thousand years)in which he created Heaven, Earth, firmament, light, darkness, sun, moon, beast, creeping things, man (man and woman), etc.,. Then he rested.

Gen.2:4 Says 4These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

There were generations on earth before Adam was even made. God created man, but he made Adam a living soul when he breathe the breath of life (spirit) in him. Man was made to live eternally until he/she sinned which made them estranged from God, dead spiritually, subject to a natural death and establishing both date and time.

The 6K years equates to mans time on earth. 2k from Adam to Noah, 2k from Noah to Jesus, and 2k from Jesus to today. Which meaning we're on the brink of a period change but I digress.

Creation is millions of years old while man with the breath of life and a soul is 6K give or take a few.

Could be but how do you explain flood recorded at the same time in places like The Congo river, meditarranean region and the far east. What kind of regional flood affects a large area of the world.

So were did the all the water from a water planet go?????
:lol::lol::lol:

FUCK WRONG WITH YALL DIDN'T YALL HEAR THE FUCKING NEWS URBAN IS LEAVING FLORIDA FUCK.........THIS SHIT POP OFF OTIS POP OFF DAMMIT.............

cry-baby-girl-face.jpg

It's called a hydrologic cycle and before you assume the mental foetal position it is possible to flood a planet so long as the cycle is continous

hydrologic_cycle2.jpg

If that much water evaporated, enough to cover the earth, the earth air pressure would have been so great that it would have crushed all life on earth! Besides it would have been just that, a cycle and the water would either still be in the atmosphere or on the ground flooding the planet. Now act like you are speaking to somebody with brains, and come again with a better explanation!

You are smarter than that. You could pull flood records from America for 2003-2008 and for other parts of the world for the same year. Doesn't mean shit was global.

From a scientific point of view 1000 years from now one could look at what happened in New Orleans in 05 and the Tsunami that happened across the world prior to that and say it happened at the same time.

I am not even mentioning other regions that were flooded in the same time period. See the point? Hell wasn't there even bad flooding in Minnesota or the Dakotas or somewhere in 08?

Water doesn't evaporate at the same time you mental midget. the fact that the rain was continous means that it was evaporating continuously  You seriously that dumb to think the water evaporated at once and was just floating out there. It happens all the time but for shorter periods in monsoon climates

I can't believe you are this dumb.

When he tried sticking to the literal bible text it was a wrap, ol' boy should have tried to back track and attempt to modify the text, instead of falling into the trap of trying to explain the impossible.

Really can you put floods that put cities into oceans and created Ancient showlines. The floods of that created the black sea and populated the congo river were minimal floods like you allude to these were ocean water raising and entering deep into the mainland floods.

Enough to uncover all the land on earth had to evaporate and stay evaporated must have occurred, or duh, we would still be underwater, that much water in the atmospheric would be sufficient to crush all life.

You are just getting into a empty tin sophism state because I clearly stated it was a hydrologic cycle and yet you fail to debunk that saying the pressure would crush the world when you see the same type of rainfall in shorter days everyday:lol:

Keep moving your goal posts

Not to mention how much heat it would have taken to evaporated that much water in under 40 days! The more you examine the more stupid the story gets!

Dummy if the cubic metric volume of water needed to cause a world wide flood, were to some how be released in the atmosphere, Earth would become just like Venus, a planet unsuitable for life, due to the air pressure.

Where did you get the idea that all the water just went up into the sky and came down??? Do yourself a favour and read what a hydrologic cycle is and how clouds hold water.

Please stop:lol::lol::lol:

Water evaporates at all TEMPERATURES, you don't need heat to evaporate water:rolleyes:

I would like to see the time frame you are referring to for these events and how closely they are supposedly linked.

Are you serious? The more water you evaporate the greater the temperature has to be. Remember it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, creating enough water to cover the entire earth. That much water would have never evaporated with out turning back to rain and re flooding the earth again, not unless the earth was super heated instantly vaporising enough water to once again free the land. On top of the the earth atmosphere would have to be vaporised, allowing the water to free the earth atmospheric so that it wont rain back down!

I really cannot take this seriously , sometimes if you don't know anything pretending you do won't help. I repeat water evaporates at all temperatures it doesn't need heating at high temperature to evaporate. If you do not believe me leave a cup in a cold room for hours

I guess you belive that the earth is six thousand years old

Time as you know is not based on seconds, minutes, and hours. It's based on the rotation of the earth.

There is 24 hours in a day based on the earth's rotation. If the earth sped up there would be less time in a day and we would adjust time accordingly.

That being said is it possible that in the beginning of earth's existence that the planet was not spinning or not spinning as fast as it is now. And what we call a "day" in this age could have been equivalent to 1,000 years back then?

That would give more credence to the enormous size of the dinosaurs.

Or do you believe that in the beginning the earth was spinning at the same rate it's spinning now and that everything was just good?

Choose wisely. :D

Your assuming that there were mountain ranges as tall back then as they are now. Are tall mountain ranges were created in the flood.

8th millenium bc seems to be the common timeframe . The dead sea deluge and the congo river seemed to have been flooded around that time as well. theres written and oral accounts with written accounts being from the usual civilisations that wrote down things like the story of Enki or gilgamesh. But other accounts like that of Bena-Lulua of the congo,( ironically in lost biblical books the same name appears)Buryat of siberia and others from across the globe

Take a pool of water, even better a ocean, now take that cup of water an boil it, you would see the bigger the water mass the longer it takes, and the warmer the climate the greater the rate of evaporation, this is why the equororial levels of the earth has a much higher rate of evaporation than the polor caps.
What fucks up you dumb ass theory even more, is that the more evaporation, the more clouds there is, the more clouds are created, and the more the sunlight is blocked out, cooling off the earth, and causing precipitation, so before enough water could be evaporated causing the water levels of a water planet to subside, exposing the land to occur, there would have been more rain, and this would be the new rain cycle! In short, water levels in the earth rarely fluctuate a few feet, yet enough to cover the entire planet with water, this current water cycle that we are in, has been around for hundreds of millions of years. And only something as dramatic as a meteor colliding with earth or a great ice age a super volcano, or something like a supernova burst has been the only things known to dramatically change the planet water levels.

Pulling records from 2003 and trying to compare them to 2300 B.C is stupidity at it's finest.:lol:

From a scientific view of course..:D

WTF. DID YOU JUST SAY,:lol: HOLD ON................

According to the Genesis account of the flood, all the water did not originate from the rain but the bible says that the springs also broke from beneath the earth.

Who knows something close to a lot of rain and a Tsunami happening in sequence. Maybe a planetary shift.

Why do many of you assume theses events were either natural or supernatural? And why assume that what you know about the heavens and earth is fact?

No wonder we get our asses kicked by the white man. We are arguing over events that his science either corroborates or debunks. Try a third option if you seriously want the truth.

Hey, how about this one...There were these two alien races fighting over mankind. One side wanted to keep him enslaved and the other wanted to liberate him. The casualty rate was higher than expected and the ensuing battle caused massive planetary upheavals resulting in earthquakes, massive tidal waves, flooding and much much more.

I'm thinking of starting a religion and this makes just as much sense as any other theory.:lol:

ok THE EARTH IS ACTUALLY slowing down not speeding up

Tell me this mother fucker didn't pull a superman the movie, on my ass! I guess I shouldn't hold my breath and wait for you to explain to me what speeded up the rotation of the earth, right? And I know you don't want me to go in and explain to you the catraphic effects a faster roatating earth woukld have on all life, here on earth!

This is so easy to understand it is almost frightening when people can't. Scary that they use logic in every other aspect of life but want to suspend it for THEIR mythological figure.

Notice how I said THEIR figure. What of the other thousands of figures? They laugh at Medusa. They laugh at Harpies. Do they believe in Isis? The story of Thor is fiction to them. Think they even bother to look at the similarities between their Jesus and other man-gods of the region?

It's not their fault. Not many people have the power to escape brainwashing they have been subjected to since birth.

People want to make it like their myth is somehow superior to the thousands of others. Just as they dismiss the other man god myths, we dismiss theirs.

You speak of thousands of others and yet on the 4th page you haven't produced one.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just merk all the people in the world, rather change the laws of physics logic and common sense and have poor Noah go all the way across the planet (I've always wonder why he was credited for discovering America) trying to find two of every species? Do you not know how hard it is to find two of every creature or even tell a male from a female in some animals??????

This has turned into a Red Herring Debate. Lets go back to the Original Question.

Is what the OP posted factual? Did a bunch of dead "saints" raise from their graves and mingle amongst the people? Is there any account of this anywhere in history?

I just had to call my nephew to read this and laugh at you, He is only 14 and he thinks you are retarded

Nah... he would run back to his pastor & tell him that he was touched by the divine. Then he would start praying to... RAPTOR JESUS!!!!!

I dont believe a word in the bible anymore. I believe in a God/Creator.. but the nonsense that Major religion teaches(tries to brainwash us with), I can't buy into it.
