Not until discovery and not if they are still building the case. You can snitch on somebody and they not know for 5 years. His testimony could just be part of what the case it built around.

When you're transferred to a half-way house, you essentially have your freedom back. It's basically like living in a honor system hotel.

You can visit your family during the day and go to work. You just have to be back in by a certain time each night, and cannot piss dirty or bring alcohol.

There's also an approved visitors list.

Nah he served about 7 months on that one. I remember that one. He was sentenced in April 2004 and released May 2005. I think he went in around November or some shit. But he got seven months as a convicted felon for hitting a cop!
