People forget the fact that just because you become famous they don't wipe your record clean.

TI is a felon. A violent felon. A repeat violent felon.

Exhibit A - Before, the gun charges, T.I. already had a laundry list of criminal offenses, as well as parole violations. Here's a look at his record, dating back to 1997.

Nov. 1997 arrested in Georgia for distribution of cocaine, manufacturing and distributing a controlled substance, and giving authorities a false name. He was later sentenced for this crime serving seven months in jail and released on seven years of probation.

Sept. 2003 - arrested in Florida for striking an officer, trespassing and disorderly conduct

Dec. 2003 - warrant issued in Geogia for violating parole

Apr. 2004 - sentenced in Georgia to three years in jail; served less than a year

Jan. 2005 - sentenced in Florida to 18 months' probation and 75 hours of community service

May 2005 - released from Georgia jail on $25,000 bond

2005 - arrested for threatening man outside Atlanta strip club; charge dismissed.

All you wanna be tough guys or whatever would sing ya fuckin' asses off if you ever got caught and had to do hard time. You get offered a year or two VS. 15 years, you would be talkin' too.
That no snitch shit is stupid as fuck.
T.I. would have been "snitchin" on some very high level criminals. Probably foreigners that brought that kind of weaponry into the country. WHO GIVES A FUCK!!!! Dumb ass code of the streets.
I am not on "that side" of the law and never will be. Gonna hustle and make mine the legal way and be able to sleep at night and take care of my family.

PEACE

You missing the point of the "no snitch" shit here cousin.

You do the crime you do the time. Period. If I'm selling dope and you selling dope and you get caught and it wasn't my fault you did...Why in the fuck would you tell the cops "yeah that nigga Andey selling too"!

That's being a fucking man and saying I fucked up so let me go ahead and do my time.

Now if you didn't have shit to do with it then of course you tell. If I'm in the car with you and you got drugs and I don't deal and they taking my ass to jail for 15 years off of your shit I'm telling period. That nigga over there officer.

It's hard for me to disagree with you about taking responsibility for your actions.

The only problem here is you are dealing with a lot of life long criminals and cats facing hard time. The combination usually leads to niggas tellin' on Andey

He will not be home for Christmas. He is still in custody just getting transfered to a half-way house to finish the sentence. So no, he will not be home for christmas.

On that snitching shit, I doubt it. You can't snitch on someone and that person not know. His name would show in the persons affidavits. You could ask Scarface about that.

Not until discovery and not if they are still building the case. You can snitch on somebody and they not know for 5 years. His testimony could just be part of what the case it built around.

When you're transferred to a half-way house, you essentially have your freedom back. It's basically like living in a honor system hotel.

You can visit your family during the day and go to work. You just have to be back in by a certain time each night, and cannot piss dirty or bring alcohol.

There's also an approved visitors list.

I got a homegirl from nashville TN that is flat out IN LOVE with this dude, on some stan shit, she even subscribes to his website for alerts :smh: she refusesssssss to believe this dude snitched because "he seems like such a stand up guy that would accept responsibility for his actions" ok thats in one breath "...but if he did I wouldn't blame him because he has a finace and kids to take care of" :dunno: son can do no wrong to her, we spoke today and she was like "well people forget that in FED cases they tend to let you off early and let you stay in a half way home, though I wonder if they'd let him stay there considering he only had those weapons because he felt his life was threatened" :smh: I told her I hope you're enjoying the kool aid and left it there :smh:

sounds like excuses to me, our gun laws on a handgun(especially one registered out of state to the defendant who shot HIMSELF) can't be tougher than automatic machine guns and silencers in other places, be real.

and americans love their dogs? yea, I'm sure thats why his sentence was more strict

If I remember correctly, he only served a few months in 2004 because he had the video for "Bring 'Em Out" in Nov. and he spent the summer of 2004 making mixtapes and doing interviews dissing Lil' Flip. T.I. dodges serious jail time like Neo dodges bullets.

Nah he served about 7 months on that one. I remember that one. He was sentenced in April 2004 and released May 2005. I think he went in around November or some shit. But he got seven months as a convicted felon for hitting a cop!

I think he went in early like May or June, because I remember there was some controversy where he tried to shoot a music video inside jail where his uncle or somebody he knew was a high ranking C.O. and he tried to put the video out during a Summer Jam concert. And he dropped "Bring 'Em Out" and "U Don't Know Me" during the time period you say he was locked up. But either way, I stand by the last sentence of my previous post.
