Cli Terminator's Fantasy Basketball League Draft Redux

Heres the situation.

The top 4 teams in this league have a 40 point advantage over the bottom 9. The team in 5th place believe it or not has not touched his team since he drafted it and the team at the bottom hasn't either. Imagine that!

So here is my Christmas gift to all of you. I am going to hold an autopick draft in this thread.

1. I will use the draft order from the last contraction draft and use the yahoo rankings as the pick mechanism.
1a. This will be a snaking draft.

2. I will post the picks here in this thread.

3. If you accept your picks I will add them to your team.

4. If you choose NOT to accept your picks I will drop them to free agency immediately after notification.

I will send a PM to everybody explaining what's going on. I'm trying to make the league competitive in hopes more people will participate. I know the shit ain't fun sitting at the bottom with no hope of making it up when you got people who ain't playing in 5th place.

Remember you don't have to accept both picks or any for that matter. You just have to tell me who you want to add to your team and who you want to drop to make room if you need room.

that said: seems to me the fairer thing to do would have been a last place first draft order, allowing teams to make their own selections. team needs dont always match the rankings. and, it just seems off to me that the first place team got the 2nd pick. I am not accusing. I know how you did it and it makes sense from a logistics standpoint. but if one of the objectives was to breathe some life and a little more parity into the league, a system that allowed the worst teams to make their own selections at the top of the draft seems to be a better fit.

I thought about that but it being the holidays logistically it would have been tough to get everybody to agree on it without it dragging out. Just had to make a decision so I ran with the most understandable one for everybody.

Seriously I would have rather had the 11th or 12th pick in this draft personally cause those were the four players I wanted! So I'm pissed off I got Melo! Can you believe that shit!

That being said I'm willing to trade Melo.

At least this will give people a fighting chance in the league.

Either way it go Nene is at the top of the players selected.
