It is with a heavy heart at Irish and Chin that we announce that Squingy of Bass Odyssey, one of the most talented selectors/ mic men in the industry, passed away this morning at 3: 00 a.m. Squingy has brought joy to many people, in and outside of the arena. We wish his family and friends our sincerest condolences. May his soul rest in peace. His efforts and legacy will forever live on.

Kevin ‘Squingy’ Bennett has left an indelible impression on music and in our hearts. He used his GOD-given abilities to entertain us and inspire us all to reach higher heights; hence, the boy from country became the man who conquered the world.
On behalf of The Bass Odyssey Family, Kevin’s immediate family and the entire Poisondart Sound family, we extend our sincerest appreciation to everyone for all your prayers, condolences, and financial contributions. We know you will find solace in your memories of ‘Squingy’.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 28. It will be held at Harmon’s Funeral Home: 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, Fl. Kevin’s body will be shipped to Jamaica, WI immediately following the service.
The family has asked that everyone respect their privacy at this time. Please
