Other powers, notably India and China, are rising, but this does not mean, he argues, that America will lose the control of world affairs to which it is so accustomed. It will suffer some relative decline, but can still remain top nation, if it learns how to broker and mediate the relationships of other nations in the manner of Bismarck, and ceases to try to dictate in the manner of George W Bush, or even in the manner of Bill Clinton.

Lets wait till you hear China announces that by 2020, half of the cars in the country will be electric. It invests tens of billions of dollars in R&D toward achieving that goal and you know what? such a move could make China the leader in the automotive technology of the future, with other countries struggling to keep pace. Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) or newcomer BYD Auto could become the Ford Motor of the 21st century, propelled by a new technology—much as Ford capitalized on the internal-combustion engine at the start of the 20th century.

Palin will be nuking Iran and trying to bully her way in the international stage. Bush showed how effective that policy is. I do believe she will be President-she is what the neo-conservatives want in a leader.

Nah holmes white folks are paying attention. China is the future and its evident by the fact of their methodical buying of assets throughout the world. They are slowing but surely buying real estate property in the US.

As much as they were upset about the dollar losing its value, therefore their US assets losing value, I think they are just waiting for the right moment to find another big time suitor to their exports. Then. Then. All fucking hell will break lose when they dump the US dollar.

Sorry the only reason Africa is in the game is because of outside investments and China is the continent's largest investor. As for Latin America I see Brazil becoming a world power because it is so resource rich.

IF the American people demand through organized protest and voting, that companies move BACK to the United States..... I think Americans can be SELF SUFFICIENT just like I'd encourage EVERY nation to be.

Tell me why China is going to continue to expand... if Americans are producing goods here in the States (have jobs, create exports).

The problem is one, the US is impossibly in debt (75 trillion to be exact) and also cannot match Chinese productivity dollar for dollar meaning China gets more production per dollar out of workers than the US. Sorry facts are still facts the US is broke and is now courting nations to buy it out.
 
Lets not forget soon it would be safe to say that the Chinese IT sector will outgrow and outperform the Indian IT Sector. The Chinese have started to reason where and why they are lacking and are coming up with ways to overcome this deficiency in communication skills and spoken English, and have started to work hard on it.

National Debt is meaningless. It means nothing. It is fantasy land.

Next, Chinese productivity (based on the dollar) is meaningless. If they can produce it there, you can produce it here (barring region-specific items, like silk).

Third, no one is buying out the US. If you mean the Federal government, maybe. If you mean the actual people, land, and resources, that's crazy.

This where confusions starts with everyone, so let me break it down correctly.

1. Africa is continent with many countries that all have natural resources that the world needs. The outside investment as you indicated put into Africa is make those other countries like China survive and grow. Without the the riches of Africa natural resources such as copper, oil and Iron ore, you can consider China dead!


2. South America(Latin America) the powerhouse is Brazil,so I leave that point as you stated correctly.

Yes, but the problem is the Africans aren't controlling the resources yes. They do not have a strong currency and they do not have the ability to produce the machinery used to mine these resources yes. So really who is running what? Also Brazil is able to capitalize on their resoueces because they have manufacturing capability to do however, its the White Brazilians who are running the show there.

He who has the gold makes the rules, even if China manages to use all of that positive trade value to buy into or create new channels at the top of the economic food chain they are working with New Money and could still lose it all tomorrow

If you study the world economy you see china is like an NBA athlete with a big deal but the USA, IMF and G8 nations are the the Comissioners and owners not too many Athletes become commissioners and owners

Getting the money is one thing getting a place in the "board room" is a whole nother struggle

I was about to post something like this.

It's the US/England league. It is a fantasy leauge, but everyone is playing in it and everyone acts like it's real.
