Could Lebron be seriously considering MIAMI?

New Jersey/Brooklyn

Salary cap next year will only be $26 million and the NBA salary cap will probably be $52 Million so the Net will have $26 available to sign the both of them.

pg Devin Harris-young, big pg. Already an all-star.
sg Wade
sf Lebron
pf Yi Jianlian
c Brook Lopez-good young center avg 18ppg, 8rpg

Bench
Courtney Lee
Chris Douglas-Roberts

Great young starting 5 for the next for the next 7-8 years. Lebron can even try to get Chris Bosh or Amare to sign with him instead of Wade.

I think this is the best team already setup for two of the top free agents in 2010 to go to.

If the Nets finally move to Brooklyn it will rejuvenate interest of basketball in New York and the Knicks will still be bad so I think they will be able to take a lot of interest from them.

This is another legit possible scenario that will need to be monitored.

Why go to Miami and play in front of nobody? I say go to the Clippers.

look @ the young boys on that squad...they'd be nice with LBJ

Oh yeah, you talk about this full strength thing with Boston in 2008. But don't forget LA was without 2/5th of their starting lineup the year they lost to Boston. And 1 of those guys was a HEAVY contributor for the title run. Hopefully this year puts it all to rest.

You telling me Sasha & Mbenga couldn't fill the voids left by Bynum & Ariza????

First off, let me say I'm not a big Lebron James fan. With that being said, if he leaves Cleveland to Batman & Robin up with someone like Wade, Bosh, etc....no matter what he does, the so-called King could never mentioned in the same vein as MJ. No patience, No Challenge or feeling like he can do it on his own. Thats pussy shit to me. MJ was drafted, later came Pippen and all the others to build around him. He took his lumps and stuck wit it and learned to overcome the Cleveland's, Detroit's, Celtic's, Lakers', etc of his day. That's was a legacy is all about. MJ never pussied out to allow others to make him, he had something to prove! And he did and that's why he's the GREATEST!!!

One could argue that Shaq made it possible for Kobe to have those 4 rings. Likewise for Shaq. Kobe has one without him which I doubt he woulda had if Boston was at full strength. He has good time left to prove he can win more rings with a squad built around him alone.

The one thing I hate about todays game is the $$$$. $$$ fucked up the leaugue and its integrity by allowing shortcuts to the promiseland. No longer is all about hard work and sacrifice. Its just a financed chess game now....

That being said, GO BLAZERS!! Young team and good coach(Nate McMillan-slept on), built from the ground up and Brandon Roy is dat nigga!!!

Till the blazers part .... I was100% witchu good post

i'm gonna say this and leave it alone. No matter what Lebron does, he'll NEVER pass MJ. MJ fans are MJ fans. PERIOD. They don't want no one to come close. He'll have to win 7 titles STRAIGHT to even start to be considered to be past MJ. If he doesn't they'll say well MJ won 6 in a row if you think about it. Or they will say MJ never lost in the finals. The bottom line is they will find SOMETHING to knock him down some pegs.

Jordan has been put on another tier waaaaaaaay above everyone. Sorry Lebron, sorry Kobe, sorry Wade - no one will be able to pass Jordan or get really close until the people who pray at Jordan's feet are too old to matter anymore. So give it about 20, 30 more years.

Pau Gasol is just soft and got abused by Garnett and I'm sorry, but I don't think much of Andrew Bynum (outside of him lookin Bubba Gump:lol:). He has a better game than Dwight Howard( who I thinks waaaaaay overrated) but he's the Bob Sanders of the NBA. He stays hurt and his impact doesn't show enough to assume he's lifetime Laker material. I see him getting clipped when his contract is up for an upgrade. So who's the other guy?

Ima say this, and despite me being a homer, had the Lakers been matched up with Portland in the playoffs last year, they might not have made it to that ring. Correct me if I'm wrong, Blazers won 3 of 4 last year including 2 in LA. Athletic teams with multiple big men give the Lakers fits. See San Antonio, Detroit and Boston of the past. Take away Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge and compare player for player... P.Blazers has too many more players to create there own shot and take over a game, bodies at the C postion for extra fouls, rebounders( i think they led the league last yr) and I could continue on. Same for Denver and this might be year they step up cause Mello is playing lights out ball.

Lets not kid ourselves here, as far as last year goes when the Lakers won the West Conf. championship, they won the ring. W/O Boston, they east was weak.... and Cle, Orlando and anyone else was just avg compared to any team the won the west. The West was the fight!!!

That team is wack. He might as well stay in Cleveland with Brook at center. He's a good young player no doubt, but a more established big man is needed. I think a healthy San Antonio team would beat that team in 7.

:lol::lol: but hey, am I lying? Watch a game bruh, you'll see. Yao Ming gave us fits last year for good reason. We coulda made some noise fa real if we got past Houston. we was in the mix last year with the Lakers, Denver, etc with few games separated. They young...you gotta take ur lumps and learn how to win before you can actually do so. That's what I'm saying bout Bron, he's had enough off the lumps and now its shortcut time.

Brook Lopez right now is a better center than Shaq or Z. Devin Harris is a better player than that midget Mo Williams. Courtney Lee is a better player than Delonte West. Yi is just as good as Varejao. All 4 are 26 or under.

Like I said before if Lebron wants a better big man he can just recruit Chris Bosh or Amare instead of D-Wade.

Not to be funny, but the Clippers would be a good place for him.

Le Bronze
Blake
B-Diddy
Camby
Caveman

That's an ok squad right there, he'd compete directly with the Lakers, and would instantly pack the Staples.

If I were him, I'd do it for a portion of the team a la Magic and the lakers.

They'll have the cap room to offer him a contract over $10 million to start out but Camby is a free agent and he'll be 36 so there's no reason for them to resign him. They won't have any money left to sign any other free agents.

It's also in the western conference in the same division as the Lakers so if they don't get the best record in the division they can't get any higher than the 4th playoff spot which means facing the #1 team in the conference in the second round.

He would have a much easier time in the eastern conference.

As a cleveland fan I am gonna weigh in on two things, one if LBJ goes to the clippers he would definetly get hurt. If you have ever seem him get fouled or fall down he always wincing and fainting like he is almost dead! he would fear one of those acl or knee injuries!

beyond 2010 speculation, yahoo sports article has a mention of a possible stephen jackson trade, i think he could actually help the cavs right now! for some reason the Cavs Mike Brown and Danny Ferry want to put together an all defensive team, but every other team in the league besides Boston is all about scoring.

1st of all O'Neal is gone after this year. He makes 25 million.

I would love to see LJ play in SOBE next year!

its not that.
u have to remember down here there are so many things to do.
watching the heat is just one.
plus the season just started and the expectations werent very high this year, even though they are ballin.

plus aren't a lot of people in mia broke off this real estate crash?

Lebron cant seem to will his team over the hump
like "his airness" was able to do time and time again.

I even gave Kobe props:itsawrap::eek::smh:

Come on Bron go to war with the army you got.

Honestly yall are not seeing the big picture. Lebrons #1 goal is to be a billionaire. he say said it repeadtly. there is a clause in his NIKE contract that says his contract doubles if he plays in New York City or LA. 25 or 30 mill a year is nothing compared to that Nike contract. So how do i close this thread? Joking but seriously. its the clippers, knicks, nets, i think.

Where you get your information from?:confused::smh::smh::confused:

I'm a resident in BK and they haven't broke ground. and the stadium isnt named brooklyn stadium. I think its barclay's arena or center.

the only thing that going up in the downtown BK areas is residential buildings, and posh style apartments. This is gentrification. No stadium. the rail yard is still there.

Since this is all speculation on everyone's part I'll add my two cents

If Lebron and Wade are going to be a tandem it will be in Cleveland. Not retaining Shaq and Z frees up a lot of money to go after Wade. Lebron will exhaust all options before leaving Cleveland.

This dude is givin hints...

Lebron said that he may change his number next year....

Note: Miami retired Michael Jordan's number...

that's what I was thinking... but I guess they got convenient amnesia

Kobe all but left LA two years ago...

OK I thought it was just me...and anybody remember how he acted when he was drafted by the Hornets...fuck boys will come in here and said the Hornets pushed for that trade doh and totally "forget" how Kobe refused to play unless he could be traded to a contender...
