Isn’t it just a lack of self control?

I aint a woman but IMO a sex addict is someone who just is addicted to sex and it doesnt matter with who, and where.

There is a difference between that and just wanted to fuck the person you are with alot.

I just saw this video in another thread. It's hard to believe someone that attractive would ever need to masturbate let alone develop an addiction. I'm sure some guy would be glad to come over. Here's one!

Hmmmmm

I am sure there is more to her than just the GOOD LOOKS, something deeper inside that might be the reason why she is alone. I am willing to investigate and get back to you.

Is it a lack of self control-there are men and women sex addicts.

Lets be real we are all sex addicts maybe not addicted to masturbation like Nicole but we are sex addicts. We want to have sex with someone before we know anything about them just based upon looks.

We don't think to ourselves I wonder if she can bake a cake or if he likes to read. We wonder what it would be like to have sex with them.

I could look at her in that old LL Cool J video and tell she was a freak.

She oozes sex.

It's not an assertion it's a question?
And by the very nature of it being a question the op has admitted lack of full knowledge on the topic!!!!

He apparently had enough knowledge to decide that "self-control" was the likely issue. He was really just making an assertion (based on his own opinion) disguised as a question.

If he was truly curious he'd simply ask for a CLINICAL definition of this very serious (and multi-faceted) problem.

That would appear to be your opinion.....
If all addictions are based on a lack of self control, as you agreed, how is it ignorant to say so?
If you had any facts to shed on this topic you could have posted it or referred us to where we could source it, thus shedding some light on the topic.....you know? like you do if it's about a movie or some celebrity you have some insight on....
