Old School Drinks, SOL Style...

funny: today I was driving home thinking "I sure could go for a white Russian today." LMAO ..

I have a big ass bottle of Bombay Sapphire .. I might try a Toms Collins or some other gin drink because I find GIN to be dry as fuck!

I sampled a Dirty Martini ... UGH GROSSSS but I guess it would be since I don't like Olives, lol

Next time try a Black Russian. Very easy to fix, a equal amount of Kahlua and Absolute vodka over ice. A few of them you will mellow out nicely. :yes:

I actually had most of the drinks on the list with the exception of the Hot Toddy . . . Have you ever been to a diner/restaurant where the place mat is that picture showing all the different types of cocktails?

Well, a friend and I made it a point to try out all the drinks on the mat :lol: NOT AT ONE TIME mind you . . .

White Russians are my "Winter" drink, since it is heavier and smooth -- insist on having it made the proper way with heavy cream instead of milk . . . I first got into drinking Vodka Gimlets after reading about it in a Philip Marlowe novel . . .

Speaking of which, I better go and have a look for that drinks recipe book I had from my days as a bartender at TGI Fridays. Those were the days.

i thought a kaluah and vodka was a rattlesnake tho...not a black russian

they shoulda threw in the arnold palmer...even tho its non alcholic

Damn, sweet tea and lemonade? Damn, that sounds good as hell. And to take it a step further, I'm sure it will be pretty good with some kind of alcohol in it. My first thought would be vodka, or tequila...
