The cover is just hype to get suckers (like me) to read it..

one you turn the pages its not bad, not a great story but its not the bullshit you would compare to what someone here once said where batman would drop kick darkseid and save the world..

It really depends upon how much you liked comics in the 90's and your tolerance for Claremont.

It's actually some of the better, more restrained Claremont in years, no mind control yet, no bondage, no tentacles.

That being said it's pure 90's. The thought balloons, the art, I like it kind of. It's like an extended "What-If?" almost. The plot's moving slooooowly but it's got an "anything can happen" vibe the keeps me checking in. (Remi Picard haha)
