"Uptown Comedy Club" was a sketch comedy show filmed in Harlem, New York City which aired from 1992 to 1998 on various channels.



The most popular feature of the show was at the end when they had the Battle of the Comedy Gladiators, which featured a bunch of up and coming comics in their early days. Also memorable about this battle was the host, who used to say if ya tell a wack snap, ya got ta go!

Why would you say that? It doesn't even make sense - Debra Wilson essentially did the same type of jokes for over a decade on Mad TV, and TMZ had video of her doing Whitney and Yo Mama jokes freestyling on the street just a few weeks ago.
