Do we need "BAD BOYS 3"?

For bad boys three to be a success, a couple of things need to happen.

1) Mike Lowery needs to get open about a chick. Say he's been dating her for a while and has to go to Martin for advice so he can prove he's serious about that love interest.

2) Things finally going right for Martin's character. Martin at home with loving wife and family and home cooked meals watching TV and events together while Mikes ass heading home by himself after a date. Thus making Mike realize he needs to grow the fuck up. -cue song-"Don't wanna be a player no more..."

3) Through out the film a past enemy or relative of that enemy (if that past enemy was killed) is trying to get revenge.

4) Critical scene: funny but sad ending. Car bomb/pipe bomb/time bomb discovered in their Captains office while their trying to figure out who and why they are trying to kill mike and Marty. Funny banter goes on as the Capatin tries to diffuse the bomb. The captain can't concentrate with the silly argument they all are having and sends Will and Martin outside telling them to get the fuck out and practice wooosaa  while he disables the bomb. When Mike and Marty are seen outside by the villain, he remotes the bomb to explode. Captain is killed instantly and Mike and Marty realize this shit is for keeps. :( At least it gives Michael Bay an excuse for a big explosion.

5) The villain kid naps Martin's wife. Thus leading to the big fire fight in which they actually capture the villain. Despite wanting to kill the guy, they actually take him in to jail. Prison jokes abound from Mike and Marty.

6) In the end Mike finally settles down and shows respects Martin the way he should have a long time ago as opposed to treating him like a side kick. Plus Mike luckily gets the girl.

7) extra scenes during credits are key moments, like Mike fumbling through words at their wedding. another scene is him and his wife with child. Martin is promoted to captain. And now Mike lowery has to deal with a hot shot that reminds him of his former past.

And they all lived happily ever after!!!

It could work? :D

the characters do have to evolve

Of course you'd say that even if you loved the movie.

How could anyone "love" a typically mindless Michael Bay piece of hyped-up garbage, featuring two very BORED lead actors in a plot straight out of an '80s Miami Vice episode? It was about throwing a bunch of shit up against the wall and hoping something stuck (and that enough suckers showed up at the box-office to make the ridiculous expense worthwhile).

let's see...from the history of hit action/comedy movies the same rules always fall into play

1. There will an onslaught of worn out jokes and antics from the previous movies.

Yup Agree...

2. One of the characters will have been so old (martin lawrence) that somewhere in the plot, if they've retired from fighting crime, they'll wind up being persuaded back into it for "one last time."

Yup ole Marty will have retired... at the request of his wife played by Theresa Randle.

3. The villian is always on some new generation type shit. Younger henchmen, advance weaponry, an ingenious yet flawed motive, a ruthless trained killer who's tried his hand in the martial arts, or a sexy but dangerous female who is the villian's right hand man/behind the scenes sidepiece who winds up fighting toe to toe with either the character that will be hitting on her throughout the fight or his out of shape/weak partner that still somehow manages to take her down.
Fuck it get Ryan Phillipe.. he fits the casting requirements..

I CAN SEE THAT TOO... trying to electronically control the PORTS... to do something very sinister....

4. A new character will be added who happens to me the most memorable and most annoying character in the entire movie. Whether they were in one or both of the previous films, they somehow make a dramatic return to the new plot either becoming a rookie in law enforcement or has made a name for themselves doing something. Though good things were happening for them while they were absent, they'll still be treated like shit until they wind up proving themselves in either a dangerous stunt or a gunfight.
Yup Look for this guy... to be either Martin or Will's Nephew/Cousin that is a NEW COP on the force

5. One of the previous characters of another film will die fueling one if not both characters to seek revenge and ironically make it through all the peril to have a shot and avenge their friends death.
Yup, the Captain gets killed early in the film... in order to get Martin out of retirement...lol

There is no bar that BB3 can raise because they've had two successful films that finished up the story well. If anything the only reason anyone will want to see the film is because they producers have strayed away from the franchise long enough for fans to wonder what they've been up to since the last film. In two movies alone, they finished off a trilogy's worth of plot.

We did not even need a Bad Boys II

Those films were awful

I haven't seen part 2, but I can't imagine it's any good. Saw the first one for free back in the day cuz of knowing someone who worked in the theater...and I still wanted my money back. :smh:

as well as the patented "360 camera rotate" in slow-mo around them as they react,w/ sad music playing inthe background

oh and dont forget add a CGI enhanced car chase like the 2nd film had

diddy will probably produce the soundtrack again, just so he can announce it in every other song:"Bad Boys III..THE SOUNDTRACK!"

:lol::lol::lol: True dat

To get Will, they would probably have to offer him some outrageous number, probably around 30 million plus executive producer title with points on the back end. Same thing that happened with Rush Hour 3, Tucker and Chan both made 25 million of that and Chan hated doing it, but couldn't turn the money down...
How do you know Chan hated doing it?
