cyborg, no doubt. Gina is the next kimbo slice. Showtime put all their eggs in the basket of kimbo, practically crowing him the champion before he ever had an organized MMA fight. They gave him a few bums and then the "debt collector" Thompson kicked Kimbo's ass and they had to protect their boy, stopping the fight and making Kimbo the winner. Next thing you know some bum on short notice takes Kimbo out!!!
They have been hyping Gina the same way. Although she is fighting a LEGIT fighter, something Kimbo didn't do. It could be a good fight, but something tells me Showtime won't let their golden girl lose.

How is Gina the next Kimbo when Gina was a legit pro before MMA? Kimbo was a streetfighter.
The way Showtime has hyped her up is the same way they hyped kimbo. It seems like their entire hope for success in the MMA game hinges on her success. After Kimbo lost, strikeforce or elitexc or whatever they were calling it went under. I don't know all the details of why it happened, and i'm not saying it was because kimbo lost, but he seemed like their shot for legitimacy vs. UFC and WEC.
I want Gina to win... but I don't know... cyborg is lookin like Ivan Drago with her training
Cyborg will crush Carano within 2 rounds. Carano has the same problem that CroCrop had, they can only fight moving forward. They are used to their opponents circling away and trying to counter punch. Cyborg will rush right in and take the fight to her, Carano wont be able to handle that type of pressure and she will get stomped! Not to mention that she probably had a bitch of a time making weight, so her stamina may not be up to par.

i couldn't believe i was watching the same woman. when she's "ringside" watching the fights, she looks like she's 40. she's really only 34.
though she got bloodied up pretty good (right off the bat), i thought she recovered pretty well afterwards. but every time they got back on their feet, kim rose battered her with punches.

They purposely put Kimbo in the ring with bums. Guys who had names but were on their last legs like Tank Abbott and Ken Shammrock. Carano is facing off against the person considered along with her as quite possibly the top female fighter. So they aren't going out of their way to protect her because unlike Kimbo she is a skilled fighter.

I honestly think Gina should dominate Cyborg. Yeah she's tough & aggressive, but I'll always go w/ the one I believe is more technically sound.
Hold up this bitch is training old school. I just saw this video. I'mma still stand by picking Gina but this bitch is a beast
